Personal Missions are a set of challenges that will put your battle skills to the test in all vehicle types and in various situations. If you succeed in all the missions, you will get unique vehicles, crew members, and a lot of other valuable rewards.

You can find Personal Missions in the CAMPAIGNS tab in your Garage. Personal Missions become available as soon as you have at least one Tier VI or higher vehicle in your Garage. Rental vehicles do not count toward this requirement.

Personal Missions Overview

Personal Missions are organized into three campaigns: Long-Awaited Backup, Second Front, and Sector 3. Each campaign contains Operations with missions.

Each Operation is named after the unique vehicle that you will receive upon completion. The Operations are ordered by level of difficulty—the first one in the campaign is always the simplest, while the last one is the most challenging.

Missions in each Operation are grouped into series on a different basis:

  • By vehicle type in Long-Awaited Backup
  • By national formations in Second Front
  • By role categories in Sector 3

Operations are divided into mission series. Most Operations have 15 missions per series, but the number can vary: Operation Fossa has three series of 21 missions, 63 missions in total.

The time for completion is not limited, and all missions demand that you prove your battle skills. You can start the first and second campaigns simultaneously, but not at the same time as the third campaign. When switching between campaigns, all your progress in the paused campaign is saved.

Operation Fossa is completed independently of all other campaigns and Operations—when you activate it, your progress in every other campaign and Operation, including the rest of Sector 3, is paused.

The first and second campaigns can be completed in eligible vehicles up to Tier X inclusive. Sector 3 also includes Tier XI vehicles.

Personal Missions can be completed only in Random Battles.

Mission Conditions

Each Operation consists of three to five series of missions each. You will encounter various types of missions in different campaigns. Some must be completed in a single battle, while others span multiple matches.

Each mission in the Long-Awaited Backup and Second Front campaigns has primary conditions, which are obligatory for completion, and secondary conditions, which provide an additional reward. If you cannot complete the secondary conditions on the first try, you can always return to fulfill them, complete the mission with honors, and finally claim the reward.

After completing the final mission in the series, you get a unique vehicle component or a module blueprint (in Second Front). When all the vehicle components are obtained, the vehicle is yours.

Operation Vehicle
Once all parts are collected, you will receive the operation vehicle as a reward.

You can complete missions from both the Long-Awaited Backup the Second Front campaigns simultaneously if your vehicle meets the requirements of those missions.

Consider starting with the third and most forgiving campaign. Missions in Sector 3 don't have an extra, more challenging condition. You can also reach the end even if you run into difficult tasks, since there are alternative ways of completing the Operations.

Campaigns

  • The Long-Awaited Backup
  • Second Front
  • Sector 3

The Long-Awaited Backup campaign contains four Operations, each including series of missions for all vehicle types. You can start completing five missions simultaneously, one from each series.

Missions in each Operation require a certain vehicle tier:

  • StuG IV — Tier IV–X
  • Т28 Сoncept — Tier V–X
  • Т55A — Tier VI–X
  • Object 260 — Tier VI–X

The Operations must be completed consecutively. You can obtain the Object 260 heavy tank only after completing the previous three Operations.

The Second Front campaign contains three Operations, which have mission series for vehicle nation formations:

  • Alliance: Poland, U.K., U.S.A.
  • Bloc: Germany, Japan
  • Coalition: Czechoslovakia, France, Italy, Sweden
  • Union: China, U.S.S.R.

Also, certain vehicle tiers are required for each Operation:

  • Excalibur — Tier VI–X
  • Chimera — Tier VII–X
  • Object 279 (e) — Tier VIII–X

Each Second Front series includes 15 missions. The first 14 can be completed in any order, and the final mission becomes available only after the previous missions in the branch are complete.

Each Operation has special mission requirements:

  • The Excalibur Operation: accumulative missions that can be completed within any number of battles. For example, cause a total of 10,000 HP damage within an unlimited number of battles.
  • The Chimera Operation: The conditions must be fulfilled within one battle, like in the Long-Awaited Backup missions.
  • The Object 279 (e) Operation: The conditions must be fulfilled within a certain number of battles. If you fail, the progress is cleared, and the mission completion starts anew.

You can complete the missions with any type of vehicle of the required nation.

Access to the Second Front campaign is not affected by your results in Long-Awaited Backup. You can start completing both campaigns simultaneously.

The Sector 3 campaign contains three main Operations and one additional, which have mission series for specific vehicle role categories:

Vanguard

Vanguard missions can be completed sequentially in vehicles of the following types: heavy tank, medium tank, and tank destroyer in the breakthrough, assault, and versatile roles.

Ambush

Ambush missions can be completed sequentially in vehicles of the following types: heavy tank, medium tank, and tank destroyer in the sniper and support roles.

Assistance

Assistance missions can be completed sequentially in light tanks and SPGs—regardless of role.

Some missions must be completed multiple times with different vehicles.

Completing Operation missions as well as daily and weekly missions will earn you great in-game rewards as well as Campaign Points. Campaign Points count toward your progress and unlock access to new parts for assembling the Operation vehicles. Mounting the final part means you have completed the Operation and obtained the corresponding vehicle.

The missions in each series are completed strictly in order—the next mission is activated automatically after you complete the previous one. To complete an Operation with honors and receive additional rewards, you must complete all the missions in an Operation.

You can always earn additional Campaign Points by completing daily and weekly missions. This can help you obtain the reward vehicle if Personal Missions are proving too difficult.

Additional Operations

The Sector 3 campaign has two types of operations: main operations and an additional operation, Fossa. Additional operations can be activated at any time, regardless of your progress in Windhund, Dravec, or Black Rock. Your progress in the campaign's main operations is paused and saved when you activate the Fossa operation.

Each series in the operation includes 21 missions you complete one after another. However, the series are independent, so you can progress through up to three missions at once.

Additional operations do not count toward your completion of the campaign's main operations with honors.

Orders

Orders are obtained for completing the final missions with honors in the Long-Awaited Backup and Second Front campaigns.

If you come across an extremely tough mission, use orders to automatically complete its primary condition and skip it to continue on your way to the unique vehicle and crew.

How to Use Orders

To skip any mission from 1 through 14, you will need one order, while skipping the final mission will require four orders in Long-Awaited Backup, and three in Second Front.

Orders for each campaign are different. For example, you cannot commit an order received in Long-Awaited Backup to a mission from Second Front.

To commit an order to a mission:

  1. Click a mission in which you haven't completed the primary condition yet.
  2. On the screen with mission conditions, click Complete for .
If you return to the mission and complete it with honors, you get the committed order back and may use it again to skip another mission. This also works for orders committed to the final mission in the series.

Following Your Progress

Your mission progress is indicated in the upper part of your battle screen.

You can always look up the current mission conditions—press Tab and go to the Missions tab, or press N. Switch between the missions in the lower part of the screen if completing two missions simultaneously.

Some missions have restrictions:

  • Time limit for the conditions or the part of the conditions. In some missions, you can fulfill the conditions only within a certain time—for example, destroy two enemy vehicles during the first four minutes of the battle. Otherwise, the progress is not counted.
  • Minimal value. For example, if you cause less damage than required, you do not progress in the mission.

Additional Rewards

Your success in the missions will also bring valuable rewards like unique medals, badges and emblems, credits, bonds, Free XP, consumables, equipment, equipment components, Personal Reserves, 3D attachments, inscriptions, decals, Mentoring Licenses, Crew Books, directives, Garage slots, and WoT Premium Account.

Crew members are also available as Personal Missions rewards. After completing the primary conditions of the final mission in each series in the first and second campaigns, you get a unique female crew member for whom you can choose the nation, vehicle type, and major qualification. All in all, completing both campaigns will reward you with 32 female crew members.

Female crew members come with significant bonuses:

100% major qualification level

A 100% trained "zero" Brothers in Arms perk, which does not affect the training speed of the following perk

Enough experience to train one perk to 100%

Free bunk in the Barracks

Sector 3 rewards crew differently. Instead of a female crew member of your choice, each Operation recruits one specific commander. You can select the nation and qualification for these commanders, and they arrive with enough experience to train three perks.

In the Long-Awaited Backup and Second Front campaigns, after completing an Operation, you also get a unique camouflage set. If you fulfill only the primary conditions in all its missions, the camouflage will be applicable only to the reward vehicle of this Operation. If you complete all the missions with honors, you will be able to purchase this camouflage set for any vehicle of the corresponding nation.

In Sector 3, completing an Operation with honors grants even more unique rewards, for example a 2D style for Windhund, Dravec, and Black Rock reward vehicles, and a 3D style for the Fossa VM 68.

Challenge yourself, prove your skills, and claim your well-deserved rewards!
