Referral Program 2.0: Regulations

Commanders!

Welcome to the Referral Program, where you and your friends can go through the tour of duty, and receive valuable rewards upon its completion. In addition, the program will help boost your progression in the game by rewarding you with various bonuses at the end of battles.

Start Your Referral Program

First of all, the Referral Program is about a Commander and Recruit playing cooperatively. The Commander is an experienced player who is eager to share their experience with other players. The Recruit is a player who is not as experienced in World of Tanks or has not logged into the game for a long time, and is invited by the Commander. A player who wants to become a Commander or Recruit must meet particular requirements.

Commander Requirements:

  • Has fought over 600 battles (in all game modes);
  • Their account is not suspended or pending deletion.

Recruit Requirements:

  • Has fought fewer than 200 battles (in all game modes) or has not played in the last 60 days (since the last battle played);
  • Has not yet completed any Recruit Contracts;
  • Is not participating in the Referral Program as a Recruit at the moment;
  • Has never been and is not a Commander at the moment;
  • Their account is not suspended or pending deletion.

Invitations

There are two ways to generate a personal invitation link.

1. In-Game

The button to access the Referral Program will be located right in your Garage, in the lower left corner. Click on it to go to the Referral Program interface.

2. Via the World of Tanks Portal

Request your unique referral link right here at the top of this guide.

You can return to this site at any time via the Community section on the portal by clicking "Refer a Friend" in the drop-down menu.

Share your personal link with potential Recruits via social media, chat, email, etc. and invite them to join the game.

Become a Recruit

If you've received a personal invitation link from a Commander and would like to become a World of Tanks Recruit, follow these easy steps!

  1. Click the link to get to the "Invite" sign-up page.
  2. Create a new account or log in to an already existing one via the portal.
  3. To see whether you are eligible to become the inviting Commander's Recruit, an automated check is performed.
  4. Confirm your participation in the Referral Program with the Commander who sent the invitation by entering their nickname.

Progression in the Referral Program

The Referral Program (Contract) for any player consists of 6 sequential stages. To complete one stage, the Commander and the Recruit must earn 250 Referral Points between them. Both players receive corresponding rewards for the completion of a stage. Both players receive the main reward for the completion of all 6 stages. Click on the corresponding section of the Referral Contract to study the detailed information on your progress with the required player. Once terminated, a Contract cannot be restored. 

Referral Points

Commanders and Recruits receive Referral Points for certain actions performed in Random Battles. All of the possibilities to earn Referral Points are displayed in the in-game "Ways of Earning Referral Points" interface.

Possible Ways to Earn Referral Points:

  • Causing damage, including assistance damage, that exceeds your vehicle's own HP (available only to Recruits).
  • Victory (available only to Recruits).
  • Earning awards from a select list (available only to Recruits).
  • Causing a certain amount of damage for playing in the Recruit-Commander Platoon.

Some of the Recruit missions can be performed independently, and others are only available while playing in a Platoon with the Commander as the Referral Points are shared in one "piggy bank". In the case of Platoon missions, progress will be faster, because the solo and Platoon tasks can be performed at the same time. The Commander has no solo tasks, but they can help their Recruit by playing together.

Commander Bonuses:

  • The Commander receives bonuses at the end of each Random battle only when playing in a Platoon with Recruits.
  • Bonuses for playing in a Platoon with Recruits: +50% XP and +50% credits
  • The Commander does not receive referral bonuses for playing solo.

Recruit Bonuses:

  • The Recruit receives bonuses at the end of each Random battle both for playing solo and in a Platoon with the Commander.
  • For playing solo: +50% XP and +50% credits
  • For playing in a Platoon with the Commander: +100% XP and +100% credits

Ending a Referral Contract

They say breaking up is hard to do, but it might be necessary. A referral contract can be ended at any time by any of its participants.

Referral connection can be broken in the following ways:

  1. Context menu on the tile of the player's referral program, option: Break Referral Connection.
  2. Context menu on the player's nickname in the interface of referral program completion progress, option: Break Referral Connection.

After ending the referral connection, its participants lose all progress and bonuses. Players keep the rewards received within the Referral Program.

Once the referral connection is concluded, both participants should receive a notification about it.

After termination, a Contract cannot be restored.
