Compensation Policy

Compensation rules for technical issues affecting the Clan Wars modes and clan functionality

  1. These rules have been developed to ensure that a consistent and quality service is provided for players who participate in battles on the Global Map
  2. Players are eligible for compensation if there are any technical problems with clan functionality, the Global Map or World of Tanks gaming servers leading to financial or material loss.
  3. Compensation falls into two groups: mass and individual.
    1. Mass compensation is provided if more than 5% of clans have been affected by technical issues during the day.

The compensation includes the following amount of gold:

      • 15 times the cost of a Premium Account day for clans playing on a Front Х
      • 10 times the cost of a Premium Account day for clans playing on a Front VIII

The gold will be transferred to the Clan Treasury.

The Influence, lost due to technical issues, is fully returned to the clan account.

The amount of Influence, equal to the cost of disbanded divisions, is automatically returned to the clan account.

    2. Individual compensation is provided if only a few clans have been affected by technical issues. Occasional technical problems on game servers do not fall under individual compensation (game server problems fall under mass compensation).

If the Headquarters has been removed from the Global Map due to technical issues, the clan can place it back within 24 hours.

  4. Mass compensation is provided at the initiative of Wargaming based on gathered data about affected clans.
  5. Individual compensation is provided upon a request sent to Player Support. The following rules apply to the players’ requests:
    • Requests must be sent no later than 24 hours after an incident.
    • Requests must be sent by a Commander or Executive Officer.
    • Clans must provide as much information as possible about the issues they have faced.
    • Clans must provide screenshots proving that the technical issue took place (Global Map, World of Tanks client screenshots, etc).
    • If possible, requests should include battle replays showing the alleged problem.
  6. Compensation is not provided in the following cases:
    • The battle was fought.
    • Separate players were not able to participate in the battle.
    • Issues occurred in data-centers where the servers are located.
    • Internet provider issues.
    • Power shutdowns.
    • Any other events outside the control of Wargaming and not caused by Wargaming.
  7. If a battle failed due to technical issues, compensation is not provided for clan tasks on the Global Map:
    • The task progress remains the same.
    • The series of victories is not interrupted.
  8. Compensation is not provided if it is difficult to ascertain that a problem occurred.
