Administration Points

Glossary

Administration Points

Economic resource that clans use to bolster their expansion of the Global Map. At the start of a season, clans are allocated a certain number of Administration Points for free. Clans can purchase additional Administration Points using Influence. The exact number of additional Administration Points clans can purchase depends on the settings of the current season on the Global Map.

Battle transfer

The transfer of battles for provinces available between Major and Minor Powers in the Alliance. The allied clan fights all battles in the province, and if it is captured, the clan who transferred the battle becomes its owner.

Province transfer

Transfer of provinces between Major and Minor Powers in the Alliance.

Key Rules

At the start of a new season, all clans on the Global Map are allocated a certain number of Administration Points for free. The exact number depends on the season settings. Clans use Administration Points to capture provinces, create Alliances with Minor Powers and perform other actions that help them establish themselves on the Global Map. If the action is canceled or declined, the Administration Points invested in it are reimbursed to the clan.

To view the current balance of Administration Points, expand the Clan Panel in the upper-right corner of the Global Map main screen.

Administration Points are invested and reimbursed as a result of the following actions:

  • Inviting Minor Powers
  • Capturing provinces
  • Transferring provinces within the Alliance
  • Transferring battles within the Alliance
Inviting Minor Powers
Administration Points are invested Administration Points are reimbursed
The clan creates an Alliance with a Minor Power. The clan or the Minor Power dissolves the Alliance, or the Alliance is dissolved automatically (see Alliance Dissolution).
Capturing provinces
Administration Points are invested Administration Points are reimbursed
The clan captures a province.

The clan loses a province in the following cases:

• In battle
• As a result of leaving the Global Map
• As a result of an unplanned wipe of the Global Map during the season.

Transferring provinces within the Alliance
Administration Points are invested Administration Points are reimbursed
The clan receives a province from an ally.

The clan transfers a province to an ally.

Transferring battles within the Alliance
Administration Points are invested Administration Points are reimbursed
The clan creates an application for transferring a battle to an ally.

The application undergoes the following actions:

• The clan cancels the application for battle transfer.
• The ally declines the application for battle transfer.
• The ally accepts the application for battle transfer. In this case, the Administration Points get reimbursed to the clan in 24 hours from the moment the application was created.
• The application expires and is canceled automatically.

Each action requires a different number of Administration Points. The exact number is defined by the current season settings.

To view all actions with Administration Points, click (Clan Log) on the Global Map main screen and go to the ADMINISTRATION POINTS tab.

Purchasing Administration Points

If the clan has run out of free Administration Points, it can purchase additional Administration Points using Influence. The exact number of additional Administration Points clans can purchase depends on the season settings.

To purchase Administration Points:

  1. Expand the Clan Panel in the upper-right corner of the Global Map main screen.
  2. On the Clan Panel, click (Purchase additional Administration Points) in the Administration Points line. The button is disabled if the clan has already purchased all available Administration Points.
  3. In the ADMINISTRATION POINTS window displayed, click PURCHASE. A clan can purchase only one Administration Point at a time. The button is disabled if the clan does not have enough Influence to complete the purchase.

Only the clan Commander, Executive Officer, Personnel Officer and Combat Officer can purchase Administration Points.

Note: each subsequent Administration Point costs more Influence than the previous one. The initial cost and its incremental step depend on the season settings.

To view the cost of the subsequent Administration Points, hover over the  icon in the Cost of additional Administration Points line in the ADMINISTRATION POINTS window.

To view the clan’s Administration Point purchase history, go to the ADMINISTRATION POINTS tab of the Clan Log.

Economic Penalty

If the clan has run out of Administration Points, it can still perform all actions that require Administration Points. In this case, the Administration Point balance becomes negative. Each negative Administration Point is charged with an economic penalty in equivalent to a certain share of any incoming gold and Influence. The exact penalty rate per each negative Administration Point (in %) is defined by the season settings.

Example. In the current season, the penalty rate is 10% per each negative Administration Point. Thus, if the clan has two negative Administration Points, it gets a 20% penalty to any incoming gold and Influence.

The following clan income is subject to penalty:

  • Gold and Influence received for completing clan tasks
  • Gold received for owning a province
  • Gold received for ransacking a province
  • Gold and Influence received as tax from a Minor Power
  • Gold and Influence received for ransacking a convoy
  • Influence received for destroying an enemy Division.

To view your clan’s current penalty rate (in %), expand the Clan Panel in the upper-right corner of the Global Map’s main screen.

To reduce your clan’s penalty rate, you can purchase additional Administration Points or perform an action that allows you to get Administration Points reimbursed, e.g. dissolve an Alliance with a Minor Power or transfer a province to an ally.

Recalculating Administration Points

At the start of a new season, the clan’s balance of Administration Points is recalculated, considering the following events:

  • All Administration Points purchased during the previous season are reset.
  • The clan is allocated a new number of free Administration Points.
  • Administration Points for each Minor Power the clan has at the start of a new season are withheld from the clan’s balance.

As a result, the clan starts a new season with the recalculated balance of Administration Points.

Example. At the start of a new season, clan A was allocated six Administration Points for free. During the season, clan A bought ten additional Administration Points. In total, the clan had 16 Administration Points at its disposal. According to the season settings, both obtaining a province and transferring a battle cost one Administration Point, while creating an Alliance with a Minor Power cost two Administration Points.

During the season, clan A obtained two provinces and created Alliances with two Minor Powers. As a result, by the end of the season, the clan balance of Administration Points equaled 16 − (2 × 1) − (2 × 2) = 10 Administration Points.

At the start of a new season:

  • All purchased Administration Points are reset.
    Interim balance: 10 − 10 = 0
  • The clan is allocated free Administration Points.
    Interim balance: 0 + 6 = 6
  • Administration Points for each Minor Power are withheld.
    Total balance: 6 − (2 × 2) = 2

Thus, clan A starts a new season with two Administration Points.

Note: if the clan has many Minor Powers, the balance of Administration Points can become negative at the start of a new season. In this case, the clan will be subject to a penalty.

If the Global Map is wiped during the season due to some technical issues, the purchased Administration Points will not be reset. However, the current balance will be recalculated because clans will be reimbursed for the provinces lost as a result of the wipe.

If the clan leaves the Global Map, it will lose the obtained provinces and the Administration Points invested in them will be reimbursed to the clan.
