How to Create a Tournament Team
1. Go to Tournaments section.
2. Choose the tournament in which you want to participate in.
3. Players are encouraged to read the registration rules before participating.
4. Click on "Participate" to proceed.
5. If you want to create your team – click on “Create team”.
Creating a New Team
6. Fill in the name of the team.
7. How can we contact you. (EG: forum)
8. Fill in the description.
9. If the captain wants to make a private team, he can set a password. (He will have to give the password to the players of his team)
10. After performing all above – press “Create” and the team will be created.
11. After team creation, you can still modify the team.
On this page you can modify your team.
12. Private message for the game master.
13. "SAVE".
The Captain of team can do the following.
14. Close team enrolment. After it, players will not be able to enter the team.
15. Delete the team.
16. Leave the team.
17. Make another player as the team leader.
18. Delete a player from the team.
When the team is created, you can apply it for the tournament.
19. Apply for the tournament.
How to Join a Tournament Team
3. Players are encouraged to read the registration rules before participating.
4. Click on "Participate" to proceed.
5. You can search for a particular team that you wish to join.
6. You can check the status of the teams.
7. Nickname of the team leader will be listed.
8. Click “Join Team” to join.
If a password is being set, please proceed with the following:
9. Key in the password (you can find out the password from the team leader).
10. Confirm the password.
After joining the team, you can:
11. View the name of the tournament and the team.
12. Leave the team by clicking on “Leave Team”.
How to Join a Tournament Match
Step 1: Log on into game client
If your team has been successfully registered and accepted into the tournament, you will be able to join tournament matches in the game.
To do so, log on to the World of Tanks game client before the scheduled match starts. Once inside, you will see a Special Battle pop-up signal.
Please click the tournament button to join your team in the pre-match lobby.
Step 2: Preparation in Pre-match lobby
Once you join your team in the lobby, you will be shown the details for the match, including the map name, start time, and match type (i.e. Best of 5, Best of 7 etc.)
Before the game starts, prepare yourself by moving your name from the Reserve area and selecting your vehicle. Once you are ready, please click the 'Ready' button.
When the timer is up, you will enter the match automatically.
Step 3: Post-match results
The results of the battle will be shown once the match ends.
