The time has finally come. Week after week, we've presented you with matches from challengers competing in our TanksAsia Masters tournament, each of them wishing to claim the title of champion. Battles have been won or lost, owing to either expertly-executed tactics or pure skill and reflexes.
Now, three teams - PVP Super Friends, Team Efficiency and Insidious Gaming - are left standing amidst the rubble, ready for one last bout before the end. All of them will travel to Taipei, where the finals will be held on the 24th and 25th of January at Taipei Game Show, one of Asia's largest gaming conventions, to fight the final battle of the season.

Q1: How did the team come about? And how did you get the team name PVP Super Friends?
A1: The PVP part is from our clan hence PVP but the "superfriends"... Hhhmmmm... We actually tinkered with several names that were found in game like PVP Torsion Gamingks, PVP rammers, 7 dwarves to name a few. But for some mysterious reason we became the SuperFriends which to our surprise sounds good and one of our teammates really lives up to the team name because he always gets the friendzone treatment!
Q2: Describe your confidence level before Season 2 started. How far did you actually think you could go?
A2:After the Season 1 finals, we are very confident. We planned to win the first 4 weeks of Season 2 to secure a top place in the playoffs. But we only managed to win Week 3 and are barely holding on the Masters League for weeks. Because most members of my team are having bad latency and connectivity issues with (PLD*) the local internet service provider and it got worse every week. We barely made it to the semi finals with our terribad ping (200-350 plus lag spikes). Heck, we barely made it at all!
Q3:Are you happy with your performance overall? Or are there any areas that you feel you could have done better?
A3: Despite my team having really bad latency issues we manage to improvise, adapt and overcome the situation and made us through the Semi Finals. So, not bad for the cards we've been given.
Q1: How did the team come about? And how did you get the team name Team Efficiency?
A1: We created the team to farm gold rewards weekly to maintain our premium accounts, we are very efficient when it comes to this, this is how we got our team name.
Q2: What difficulties did the team encounter during the course of the tournament?
A2: Attendance rates were irregular as most of us play casually or semi-actively at best. Training sessions were out of the question. The only thing that motivated us to keep playing and try new things was the potential rewards that awaited.
Q3: Anything you wish to say to your opponents whom you will facing in the Season 2 Grand Finals?
A3: Not much really, we talk to them on TeamSpeak everyday. Good Luck?? See you there?? lolz
Q1: How did the team come about? And how did you get the team name Insidious Gaming?
A2: We formed up in late 2012 by Monoceros and went to WCG 2012 after defeating 2 SG teams. After WCG we participated in the Open Season as Alpha Team Singapore. After we lost at Ro.8, an ISG sponsor came to us and asked if we are interested in a sponsorship. We accepted and hence we formed Team Insidious Gaming.
Q2: What is your occupation? And how about your members? How often do you guys play the game or practise together?
A2: I am currently a Student. Elite is also a Student. Nisa is also a Student. SickTank is also a Student. Soda is also a Student. Hobbes works as a Film Director. Seah Chye works in OCBC Bank. Nikolai69 makes and sell tank models. Griftz is a Teacher. The most loved job in Singapore.
We play the game differently. Some play everyday. Some play occasionally. Some only show up for tourneys. We have set dates to train twice a week. But most of the time half of the guys don’t show up and our tourneys basically become training.
Q3: Anything you wish to say to your opponents whom you will facing in the Season 2 Grand Final?
A3: We love cute boi comix“Is your body ready?”YOLO HARD AND STRONK - NisaSHOE NO FEER!!!GG LAH
