Commanders!
With the new Trading Caravan event comes the chance to get your hands on many Premium and special vehicles with credits, gold, and bonds from February 15 through February 21.
Read on to discover more about the newly-released Kirovets-1 and the rare T-22 medium!
The star of the Trading Caravan event is the brand-new VIII Kirovets-1 , a tough Premium heavy with good damage that does its best fighting up close. Not only does the event bring the first opportunity to pick up this tank, but it's available for credits and also comes with the exquisite Black Marble 2D style!
Comparable to the legendary IS-3 in gameplay and appearance, the Kirovets-1 has a strong 390-damage-per-shot gun with 221 mm of penetration, a value on the higher end for Tier VIII Soviet heavies. Despite its 360 m view range being good for a Soviet heavy, it lacks the accuracy to succeed in long-range engagements consistently. For that reason, and to exploit decent armor angles and mobility, close-quarters combat is preferable.
The 42 km/h top speed is impressive for a heavy and is the highest among its peers. A low profile, 1,550 HP, and 195 mm thick turret armor provide strong survivability, while the hull armor also offers good protection. This is balanced out by the 12.46 s reload time and poor –5 degrees of gun depression, which should be accounted for when heading into battle.

The recommended equipment aims to improve the Kirovets-1's DPM and accuracy on the move. Improved Ventilation boosts overall performance, a Tank Gunk Rammer reduces reload time to increase DPM, and a Vertical Stabilizer improves gun handling. Equip Improved Hardening as an alternative to Improved Ventilation for better survivability.

While the X T-22 medium 's rarity alone makes it a special vehicle, it is also a formidable force on the battlefield. First available in 2015 and hard to get since, this exotic tank can now be added to your collection for the cost of bonds during this exciting event.
Like most Soviet mediums, the T-22 medium prides itself on versatility, offering impressive mobility, decent survivability, and good damage output. Upon its introduction to the game, it was among the best in class in several fields, including aim time, accuracy, and engine power—and it still impresses today.
Its 320 damage per shot and 264 mm of penetration are on par with other Tier X Soviet mediums, but its lower 2,560 DPM is a consequence of a longer reload time. It boasts the highest top speed among its peers at 55 km/h, and it has the best power-to-weight ratio, allowing it to comfortably reach that speed.
While decent offensive capabilities and excellent mobility suggest the T22 medium can lead an assault, its lackluster front hull armor shouldn't be ignored. Thanks to its rarity, opponents may be unaware of this weakness, but using the side armor to reverse sidescrape may provide a better engagement option.

The recommended equipment aims to expand upon the T-22 medium's versatility. Improved Ventilation boosts overall performance, a Tank Gun Rammer reduces reload time to bolster DPM, and a Vertical Stabilizer improves gun handling. Coated Optics is also a good choice for increasing view range.
