Commanders!
The Last Waffenträger event has just kicked off, so there's no better time to review one of its top prizes–the brand-new American Tier VIII Premium autoloading heavy tank, T77.
With its amazing penetration values, 4-second 1080 damage burst with 3 rounds, and strong standard penetration, this is certainly a vehicle that packs a punch!
Armor
While the T77 is not lightly armored, it is not a typical heavy tank. The 1450 HP allows you to be a little gung ho and can afford you some mistakes, but you should not be the tank leading the charge or trading shots 1-on-1 with enemies.
The tank is most comparable to the X T57 Heavy Tank , with a sloped upper hull that can bounce shots. Your upper armor can resist fire from medium-penetration guns, but you should not rely on the ability to take heavy hits.
Mobility
Firepower
Time to check out the most explosive and impressive part of the tank. The T77 packs an almighty 1080 damage burst within only four seconds. Combining that with a strong standard penetration of 232mm APCR shells and high penetration on the premium HEAT shells, you will make sure that you either take a big bite out of every healthy opponent, or provide the killing blow to anyone unlucky enough to run into you in the latter stages of a round.

Repair is crucial as a first skill to remain in the game for longer. You shouldn't lead the charge or fight in the first line, but even in the second line, your tracks could be destroyed and you don't want to be caught without them. Make sure you are always ready for a quick escape or to change to a more advantageous position. The additional skills improve your gun and your general performance in battle, especially Brothers in Arms.
The view range of your vehicle is not fantastic, so we recommend getting the Situational Awareness skill for your commander as soon as possible.
As the crew layout here mirrors that of the X T57 Heavy Tank , a tech tree Tier X vehicle, we recommend using the crew from that tank if you have researched the line already.
