Match 1: Charlotte Tiger vs PVP Super Friends

Match 1: Charlotte Tiger vs PVP Super Friends

Map one was on Ruinberg, where we saw Charlotte Tiger taking a mean game to PVP Super Friends. Initially PVP Super Friends took a lighter setup, rushing out to the Northeast portion of the map just a bit further out than capture point one. There was an IS-3 at that location spotting for friendly snipers from afar. PVP Super Friends were pinned down and couldn't counter play, which led to the majority of the team being mauled there. The remaining two tanks on PVP just couldn't get the win vs. CT and thus they lost game one.

Game two saw a change in tactics that looked as though it would give PVP an advantage in the beginning, but that just wasn't the case. They capitalized on a capture as well, but that went awry in the early game. The rest of it fell apart for PVP Super Friends and they lost the game with Charlotte Tiger still fielding 5 tanks. Game number three, the first game on offense for Charlotte Tiger, saw them fielding five IS-3s, and rushing the center of the map, close to capture point two and using the village cover to give them an amazing sniping vantage. The result was a total slaughter for PVP Super Friends, and we saw Charlotte Tiger take the game with five tanks still on the field.

The final game on Ruinberg saw five KV-5s from Charlotte Tiger, and Charlotte Tiger used the massive HP advantage to deal out-lasting damage on PVP Super Friends. For the third game in a row, we saw Charlotte Tiger still holding five tanks on the field after defeating PVP Super Friends.

Map two game one saw Charlotte Tiger taking five T49s to the battlefield in unison. If there was ever a game that PVP Super Friends could win, it would be this one, and initially the exchange of fire was exciting to watch and the battles extremely close and it boiled down to a two versus one, with Charlotte Tiger at a massive disadvantage. However, that final tank hid until the timer hit 00:00, thus giving Charlotte Tiger the fifth win in a row, and a clean sweep.

Match 1 Winner

Charlotte Tiger 5:0 PVP Super Friends

Match 3: The Coalition - Singapore vs Front Mission

Match 3: The Coalition - Singapore vs Front Mission

The first map to be played was Steppes, with Front Mission on offense. Initially they tried setting up an ambush and were dancing around capture point one while TCSG was spread across the Eastern end of the map. They didn't attempt a capture, but catching on to the counter-push coming from TCSG, they decided to rush the south. However, TCSG went back, and Front Mission followed them all the way to capture point two. TCSG had the defensive advantage, as they led front mission in to a trap. TCSG won that fight with one minute and twenty four seconds left on the clock and three tanks on the battlefield.

Front Mission lost a T29 early on in game two, putting them on the back-foot at 3 minutes in to the game. They lost another tank before taking someone down on TCSG. At one point it was four vs. four and the exchange was extremely exciting, but the clock hit 00:00 as the last two tanks went head-to-head. TCSG won game two by default. Game three saw TCSG on offense and FM on defense. At 90 seconds in to the game TCSG were making a rush to capture point two, but Front Mission was ready to strike in an ambush. The most critical moment came when one of the two T49s on TCSG missed the shot against an AMX 13 90, instantly putting the game at a two vs. four situation. The Coalition Singapore ended the final game with a T49 being chased down, and as we headed in to Murovanka, the score was a tied two to two points.

In game one on offense, we saw TCSG capitalize on pushing from the Northwest end of the map, isolating a single tank, killing it, and then scrambling to destroy the rest of the enemy team. This worked not just in their first game on offense, but the second one as well. The reason why this succeeded so much was the fact that Front Mission liked using AMX 13 90s and their accuracy at a distance can make them quite difficult to use effectively. The score became 4:2 in two very brief rounds. Game number seven, however, was a turnaround from Front Mission taking that game with only two tanks remaining on the battlefield with their defensive advantage. The final game on Murovanka saw a two vs. two as the clock hit 00:00 and with TCSG on defense, this gave them the final win that they needed to take the set for the evening. The 8th and final game went to TCSG, giving them an end score of 5:3.

Match 3 Winner

The Coalition - Singapore 5:3 Front Mission

Match 1: ELONG vs T-E

Match 1: ELONG vs T-E

Game one of map one was played on Ruinberg, with Team Efficiency on offense. Initially, the scouting tank from Team Efficiency was sent out to the southeast end of the map along with the AMX 13 90s to attempt a flank that would guarantee their hold on capture point one. Although the flanking attempt failed, ELONG mostly had light tanks with cannons not strong enough to penetrate the heavies that Team Efficiency had, thus Team efficiency was able to get a full capture with only two tanks remaining on the battlefield versus the four of ELONG. This is the highlight game of the entire matchup.

Game two on offense was a different bag of plays that didn't work for Team Efficiency. They rushed the Eastern village, but took a lot of damage in the process. ELONG held so well that although they had some very low-HP tanks, they did not lose any tanks on their team. Game three put Team Efficiency on defense and ELONG on offense, and while ELONG initially lost their scouting tank, the one-for-one exchanges began as ELONG was capturing capture point one and Team Efficiency did everything they could to counter play. The exchange was not in their favor at first, but then they turned the game around quickly. ELONG was left with only a single AMX 13 90 versus the three heavies on Team Efficiency. With the time on the clock remaining unused, ELONG dropped the game.

Game four saw ELONG turn things around, using a KV5 as a decoy and making Team Efficiency think it would be a charge forward following that tank, but instead they were flanked from a different angle while shooting said KV5. ELONG took the final map and the score was a tie at 2:2. Map number two was Murovanka, and the offensive round went to Team Efficiency. Initially, Team Efficiency tried capturing capture point one, but ELONG was fast to react and stopped that from ever coming to light.

In game two on this map we saw a slight change in tactics. Team Efficiency piled themselves up on the hill close to capture point one, prompting Elong to start firing on them from all directions, eventually grinding both teams down to a 2v2 scenario. ELONG subsequently got the win by outlasting what was left of Team Efficiency to the 00:00 mark.

In ELONG's first round on offense they all gathered up on a hill close to capture point two and unloaded on Team Efficiency one by one. it came down to a 6 on 4 fight and ELONG rushed in after spoting a divide on Team Efficiency, taking the final game and bringing the end score to 5:2. ELONG Wins.

Match 1 Winner

ELONG 5:2 Team Efficiency
