Tank Commanders!
Welcome again to the illustration column series, where we uncover the mysteries of the less well-known Japanese tanks through illustrations and a brief historical column of the tanks.
In part 3, artist Takashi Ino draws a tank that was lost in the prototype race and never saw the light of day: "Experimental Medium Tank Chi-Ni." In the illustration, the Chi-Ni leads a peaceful life surrounded by nature.
You can see previous parts in the Illustration Column series here.
There'll be more Japanese tanks to come, so keep your eyes open for updates!
