[Special] Happy 2nd Birthday Wargaming ANZ!

It’s been a little over two years since Jay and Koz joined the Wargaming team (we found a Vondle recently too), and two years to the day since we launched the ANZ Periphery server. Since then it’s been nothing but player events, cable sharks, unbranded lemon beverage, and Generals for Jimmy. So how do we possibly celebrate working with such an amazing and unique community? By cramming November full of stuff for our ANZ players, of course!

In-Game Events

Let’s start with what’s already happening. The Hunt Us Down event moves into its second stage as of today, and that stage is exclusive to the ANZ server! From November 1^st – 15^th, Hunt Us Down accounts will only be found on the ANZ server, and reward all the good Crew Skins, EXP and Crew EXP boosts.

We’ve also got some fun anniversary-themed missions for you to enjoy – the top 10 most-played premium and tech tree tanks in ANZ will all be earning double EXP over this weekend. Plus, there will be some ANZ-themed goodies up for grabs!

Lastly, our good friends in the clan 1AR are hosting a special anniversary-themed Shenanigans Night on Saturday, 2nd of November, starting from 8pm GMT+11. Fun and games will include the iconic Pz. 1C races, Argey Bargey, and attempting to break our previous record of 39 kills with a single artillery strike. There’s even a ‘Pretty Fly’ TL-1 LPC Offspring tank up for grabs, so don’t miss out! Make sure you join the Asia Discord server and jump in the 1AR Shenanigans voice chat channel to get involved on the night.

Streams

If you’re reading this, then odds are we’ve already started our 2nd Anniversary stream. To kick things off in style, we will be streaming for a marathon 12 hours starting from 12pm GMT+11. Jay, Koz and Vondle will each be taking a 4-hour shift hosting the stream, and each is bringing their own group of special guests! Details for each slot can be found below:

Then throughout the month, be sure to catch Vondle and Jay during their weekly regular streams from 3 - 7pm GMT+11. Each week will feature a special WeeGee guest who has been supportive of the ANZ Community over the years. Who knows… you might even spot Tanitha on there…

Vondle has hit the ground running in his first few months as a WeeGee, and November will be no exception. On top of new videos in his stellar ‘WoT to Know’ series, he and Jay have been working on a Unicum Guide for the AC-4 Sentinel, and some more content that really highlights the best of the ANZ server and its community. We will also be sharing interviews with key members of the World of Tanks community about their service to the Australian/New Zealand armed forces or their service to the ANZ WoT community itself. First up, Team Efficiency/YETI’s own Bolagnaise! Keep your eyes peeled on our YouTube and Facebook pages for those!

Extras

Last but certainly not least, Jay will also be revisiting his ‘JayMA’ on the Forums after a successful debut in September; and while he can’t make balloon animals (or tanks), he will be creating personalized wallpapers featuring that shiny new ANZ coat of arms you see at the top of this article later in the month. One last thing for prospective ANZ Community Contributors, make sure you’re following all of our social channels, because you’ll get your chance to apply this month!
