New Clan Wars Event: Armageddon

World of Tanks team is pleased to announce a new in-game event that will be happening very soon. Known as 'Armageddon', expect to face challenges such as secret technology, hidden areas, intense battles and more as you and your clan work to achieve the main goal: obliterate the world's evil and complete the journey towards a new Global Map.

Armageddon Comes

The world of the Global Map we used to know is doomed and faces imminent disaster after four years of constant global warfare. This disaster threatens to devastate of all the World of Tanks Clans. The only way to survive is to find a new home!

However, no Clan has the technology to reach the new Global Map. But fortune smiles! According to secret data, a once mighty and dreadful evil empire defeated many years ago had the necessary knowledge to move between worlds. As it turns out, there are numerous secret bases from this Empire remaining all around the world, storing unique technology and inventions. One is an aircraft we've been unable reproduce based on the modern physics model: the Belluzzo Wheel (Flying Saucer).

Clans will be seeking and seizing Belluzzo Wheels and delivering them to a new area: New Swabia, where the remaining Empire Forces are preparing for their own Global Map relocation. For this purpose, they built a secret spaceport and a series of supply reactors. Clans are to capture these facilities by destroying the Empire's forces.

All game events will be based on a system of staged tasks each Clan receives individually. The results will be based on successful task completion.

The main prize of the battle against the Empire will be a unique premium tank: The Tier VIII IS-5 (Object 730) in a special unique camouflage. In addition, the best players will also be awarded with medals specially designed for the event, and all clans that take a part in the event will have the opportunity to fill their treasuries with gold that they can get by capturing and owning the provinces on the Event Map.

When the Armageddon event launches, the normal Global Map will be swapped out to make room for the Event Map. The event map will be the only one available for the event duration. All clans will be able to leave the Map at will.

Awards and Achievements

As in previous events and campaigns, clans will receive Fame Points and players will earn Personal Fame Points for participation in the event.

1. A total of 600 Tier VIII IS-5 (Object 730) premium vehicles will be given out at the end of the event as its main prize. These will be distributed to the best players from the best clans according to the event results.

   Due to the overwhelming desire to own the tank, we will also provide the opportunity to all participants of the event to purchase up to 900 IS-5 tanks with in-game gold. Therefore, the total number of tank winners will be increased from 600 to 1,500.
2. Clans who will participate in "Armageddon" event will receive an opportunity to win unique medals:
   

   Title	Description
   	Soldier of the last war Awarded to players who participated in five or more battles on the Global Map during the Armageddon event
   	"Seeker" I degree For winning a landing tournament and landing in New Swabia. Awarded to all clan members, who are included in the clan roster at the end of the event.
   	"Seeker" II degree For completion of the second task "Belluzzo Disc". Awarded to all clan members, who are included in the clan roster at the end of the event.
   	"Seeker" III degree For completion of the first task "Control Center". Awarded to all clan members, who are included in the clan roster at the end of the event.
   	Top secret For completion of third task "Launch pad". Awarded to all clan members, who are included in the clan roster at the completion of the task.
   	The Guardian For protecting the province from enemy clans, for which this province is a target province. Awarded to all clan members, who are included in the clan roster at the moment of the battle's victory.
   	Apocalypse Knight Awarded to the owner of the "Spaceport" province in New Swabia at the end of the event. Awarded to all clan members, who are included in the clan roster at the end of the event. These clans will also receive territories on the new Global Map after its official release.
