Tank Commanders,
The details you've been waiting for are now here! Read on to see what's happening to the Global Map during the World on Fire event.
General Regulations
- The World on Fire event will start from 7th May, and will last until 18th May on the Global Map.
- All clans may participate in the event irregardless of the clan creation date (either before or after the event starts).
- All vehicles up to Tier VIII are allowed to participate in battles.
- On 6th May, the Global Map will be frozen for maintenance. During this time, the map will be wiped:
- All player actions will be cancelled.
- Revolts and Ransacking will be turned off.
- Income from Ransacked provinces will be restored.
- All chips and Headquarters, which were previously available on the Global Map, will become available for first turn within the game event.
Note: Tank-locking will be disabled during the World on Fire event.
- World Redivision mode will become active on 7th May.
- All provinces will become available for landing.
- The provinces Moscow Region and Tura will be owned by Wargaming Clan [WG]!
- Espionage and counter-espionage will be activated.
- Revolts and Ransacks will be inactive
- The maximum amount of requests to participate in a landing during World Redivision mode is limited to 32.
- If a draw results from a landing battle, the province will be given to the clan that challenges the owner.
- Once World Redivision is complete, the World on Fire event rules will be activated:
- Revolts and Ransacks will be available.
- The probability of Revolts will be drastically increased.
- Espionage and counter-espionage will be made available.
- The maximum amount of requests to participate in a landing will be increased to 64.
- During the World on Fire event, a clan may leave the map, which will cause it to lose all its provinces gained.
- All Victory Points earned as a result of owning provinces will also be lost.
- Once the clan leaves the map, all its chips, along with its Headquarters will be withdrawn and go into reserve. They will only be available again after 24 hours. Reserved active chips may be deployed on the Map again during the next turn after the withdrawal.
Victory Points in the World on Fire event
- The goal of each clan is to fight for provinces that contain a high possibility of revolt.
- Each province during the event will produce 100 Victory Points per turn to the owner (i.e. 2,400 Victory Points over 24 hours).
- If a clan wins in a Revolt battle or during a landing tournament, 75% of the Victory Points earned by the previous owner for that particular province will be transferred over to the winning clan.
- For example, if Clan A wins a revolt battle or landing tournament against Clan B who has owned the province for 10 turns, Clan A will receive 750 Victory Points.
The above rule applies only for Revolts and landing tournaments. If a clan wins a standard battle for a province, it receives no Victory Points from the ex-owner, but will begin earning the 100 Victory Points per turn from the new province.
- A clan that loses a province as a result of any battle will also lose 75% of the Victory Points gained from that particular province while it was still under the clan's control.
- In the case of the previous example, Clan B will now lose 750 Victory Points as a result of losing the province to Clan A.
- The remaining 25% will remain untouchable, and will not be deducted from the losing clan until the event ends and all points are tallied.
- The 'Civilian' Clan is excluded from this function, but will receive and lose Victory Points similar to other human participants in the event.
- If a clan conquers a province held by the Civilian clan, that clan will receive 75% of Victory Points earned by the Civilian clan while it was in control of the province.
Fame Points in the World on Fire event
- The base amount of Fame Points that players will receive during the event is equal to the average EXP gained by their team. This number does not take into account bonus modifiers from Premium Accounts or weekly specials.
- A clan that takes part in a Revolt battle or landing tournament will get the basic amount of Fame Points for any battle.
- Battles against the province owner in case of landing tournaments are exempt from this, and will receive bonus modifiers as shown below.
- All bonus modifiers during the World on Fire event are shown in the table below. The final number of Fame Points will be counted after all modifiers are applied. If several conditions are met, the modifiers are also combined.
Conditions |

Participation in tournament battles or Revolts during the event |

In case of a disputable situation when crediting Victory or Fame Points (due to suspicions of false battles, etc.), Wargaming Administration reserves the right to ask for battle replays, screenshots and other information with regards to the matter. If the information is not available, Administration will make an independent decision. We strongly recommend enabling the 'Replay Recording' in Game Options.
- Player statistics and information in the Hall of Fame will update once every 24 hours.
