Victory & Fame Points Guide for World on Fire Event

During the World on Fire event for Clan Wars, players and clans will be able to earn Fame Points and Victory Points respectively. These points will determine the ultimate winners of the event, who will be rewarded with various prizes at its conclusion.

The following is a detailed description of the crediting and compensation rules for both Victory and Fame Points.

Victory Points

Victory points are awarded to clans when they complete missions, win battles or control territory during the World on Fire event.

While the event is underway, each controlled province provides 100 Victory Points to its owners per turn (i.e. 2,400 Victory Points in 24 hours).

Victory Points held by any particular clan during the event cannot be converted to gold, and vice versa.

If a clan wins a Revolt battle or a landing tournament, they will receive 75% of the total Victory Points earned so far by the previous province owner. For example, if Clan A wins a battle against Clan B who has owned the province for 10 turns (1,000 Victory Points earned total), Clan A will therefore receive 750 Victory Points as a result of their victory.

At the same time, Clan B, who has lost the province to Clan A, will be deducted 75% of their Victory Points earned from that particular province. This means that Clan B will lose 750 Victory Points in the above example.

The remaining 25% that Clan B has earned from the province will remain theirs, and will never be taken away from them until the event ends and the points are tallied.

Note: If a clan leaves the Global Map during the event, all Victory Points earned as a result of owning provinces will be lost.

Fame Points

Unlike Victory Points (which are meant for clans), Fame Points are gained individually by players without any connections to the former. If a player leaves a clan and joins another, the Fame Point balance for that player will remain untouched.

How Fame Points are earned:

  • Fame Points are awarded to clan members for their participation in battles during the World on Fire event.
  • The base amount of Fame Points that players receive is equal to the average EXP gained by the entire team in each battle.
    • This 'average experience' will not include bonus EXP modifiers, such as Premium accounts and EXP bonuses in weekly specials.
  • Participating in battles over provinces will grant players a x5 modifier to the base Fame Points amount for that particular battle.
    • Battles in Revolting provinces will not grant the x5 modifier.
    • Battles in landing tournaments will not grant the x5 modifier.
      • Final battles against province owners, or battles between challengers over province ownership however will still be granted the x5 modifier.
  • The total amount of Fame Points will only be defined after all modifiers have been applied. A more detailed description of modifiers can be found in the World on Fire Regulations article.

Victory Points Compensation

The rules for Victory Points compensation are as follows:

  • If a battle for a province between two clans has taken place with no results shown due to technical reasons, a compensation of Victory Points may be allowed.
  • If the Global Map is unavailable for all clans, the compensation of Victory Points will not be planned.
  • In case of seperate technical problems for individual clans, Victory Points compensation may be considered if relevant tickets are sent to the Support Centre. The following information must be indicated on the ticket before any action is considered:
    • The date and time of the incident
    • Detailed information about the problem faced (e.g. clans involved, province link, etc.)
    • Evidence or proof that the problem existed (e.g. screenshots, replays, etc.)

Note: Tickets that do not present the required information will not be entertained.

  • All decisions regarding Victory Points compensation will be made by Wargaming Administration, and will be judged on a case-by-case basis.

Fame Points Compensation

The rules for Fame Points compensation are as follows:

  • If the amount of Fame Points that a player has stated in a Support ticket does not match the number displayed in the Hall of Fame page, compensation may be allowed.

Note: The data in the Hall of Fame page refreshes only once every 24 hours.

  • If players suffer from technical issues when credited with Fame Points, Wargaming Administration may compensate the missing Fame Points.
  • If a technical issue has massive character, the compensation of Fame Points will go according to the set base Fame Point amount of 500. All relevant modifiers that affects base Fame Points will be applied.
  • In case of seperate technical problems for individual players, Fame Points compensation may be considered if relevant tickets are sent to the Support Centre. The following information must be indicated on the ticket before any action is considered:
    • The date and time of the incident
    • Detailed information about the problem faced (e.g. clans involved, province link, etc.)
    • Evidence or proof that the problem existed (e.g. screenshots, replays, etc.)

In case of disputable situations regarding the crediting or compensation of Victory or Fame Points, Wargaming Administration reserves the right to make the final decision.

Force Majeure

In case of force majeure situations surrounding Victory or Fame Points compensation, or prolongation of the event date and time which may require additional actions to solve an issue, Wargaming Administration reserves the right to make the final decision.
