UPDATE 1.17 IS HERE!

Update 1.17 is coming your way, Commanders! The long-awaited Steel Hunter mode is returning to World of Tanks with the largest series of complex changes since its release. We’re also reworking the Artillery Strike and Airstrike Combat Reserves in Strongholds, as well as relaunching Recon Mission with fresh maps.

Steel Hunter Returns!

One of your favorite game modes is returning to World of Tanks! This time, Steel Hunter has received a massive revamp, making it more enjoyable than ever. In addition to the two existing maps—Dreamland and Arzagir 4.04—we added a third atmospheric locale in a Scandinavian setting. You’ll also be able to play in three brand-new vehicles with unique new abilities. Many other changes await—we’re sure you’ll enjoy them!

Reworking Combat Reserves in Strongholds

We significantly reworked Combat Reserves in Strongholds. Instead of two Reserves with similar effects—Airstrike and Artillery Strike—only Artillery Strike will cause fixed and more predictable damage. Airstrike will be replaced with the new Inspire Tactical Reserve. Its mechanics resemble a similar Reserve in the Frontline mode.

Accordingly, in Strongholds, the Attack Bomber Squadron structure will be replaced with the new Logistics Service structure. The economy of Strongholds will also be brought in line with these changes.

Recon Mission Relaunch

This June, Recon Mission will return to the game in the familiar format but with slight adjustments. It will feature three brand-new and three reworked maps from the previous launch for you to try out and cast your vote on. Get ready to explore new maps and share your impressions!

Battle Pass 2022: Season VIII

Battle Pass is back again, tankers! Season VIII is here for the entire summer, from May 31, 2022, at 4:30 UTC+8 through August 30, 2022. It's going to be a hot Season—and also a memorable one. The backstory will take you into the Warhammer 40,000 universe, with an epic confrontation between three commanders from the grimdark future. These mighty champions will become your recruits after you complete their respective Season VIII Chapters. Other rewards include three imposing progressive 3D styles inspired by the commanders’ specific factions, Battle Pass Tokens to be exchanged for rare Tier IX vehicles (including the empowered Cobra), 2D styles, and much more. After you complete all the three Chapters, you'll be able to get your hands on some of the rewards from the Seasons that came before.

Premium Account

Players with Premium Account will be credited an additional 24 hours of WoT Premium Account time to make up for the update maintenance period. If you’d like to make any in-game purchases, please wait until the servers are running again.

Downtime

World of Tanks servers will be down on 31 May from 2:00 to 8:00 UTC+8 to get everything in order.
