How to Participate

The program is about a Commander and their Recruits playing cooperatively. The Commander is a seasoned player who is eager to share their experience with others. The Recruit is a player who is not as experienced in World of Tanks or hasn't logged in to the game for a long time and is invited by the Commander. Each role has its own specific requirements.

Commander Requirements:

  • Has fought over 600 battles in any game modes
  • Their account is not suspended or pending deletion

Recruit Requirements:

  • Has fought fewer than 200 battles (in all game modes) or has not played in the last 60 days
  • Has not previously completed any Referral Contracts
  • Is not currently already participating in the Referral Program as a Recruit
  • Has never been and is not currently a Commander
  • Their account is not suspended or pending deletion

Recruiting Process

There are two ways to generate a personal invitation link.

  • In-Game
  • Via the World of Tanks Portal

The button to access the Referral Program is located in the lower-left corner of your Garage.

Click it to go to the Referral Program interface and follow the instructions.

Request your unique referral link right here at the top of this guide.

You can return to this page at any time via the Community section on the portal by clicking "Refer a Friend" in the drop-down menu.

When you share the link, the recipient will receive your personal data (username) according to the Wargaming Privacy Policy.

  2. Create a new account or log in to an already existing one via the portal.

Progression in the Referral Program

In Referral Program, every Contract between a Commander and their Recruits consists of six consecutive stages: the Referral Campaign.

Recruitment Campaign Stage 1 2 3 4 5 6
Eligible Vehicle Tiers II-X V-X VI-X VII-X

Commanders and Recruits need to work together to earn 250 Referral Points to complete each stage—so a total of 1,500 Referral Points is required to complete a Referral Campaign. However you cannot earn more than 100 Points each day. Both players receive corresponding rewards for the completion of a stage, as well as the main reward for the completion of all six stages.

Referral Points

You can earn Referral Points in Random Battles by completing certain tasks/fulfilling certain conditions and fighting in vehicles that correspond to the current Stage. Fighting as a Recruit in rental vehicles does not award Referral Points. A Recruit may complete part of their missions solo, and the other part in a Platoon with their Commander. For the Commander, the only available missions are Platoon missions, which they can complete together with their Recruit. The harder the conditions, the more Points the players earn.

Players earn more Referral Points fighting in a Platoon, since all Points for solo missions are doubled when fighting in a Platoon. Besides, Platoon missions bring Points not only to the Recruit, but also to the Commander.

You cannot earn more than 100 Points per day. This helps avoid situations where some players enter a battle and do nothing, thereby spoiling the game for other players.

Commander Bonuses:

  • The Commander receives bonuses at the end of each battle only when playing in a Platoon with their Recruits and on a vehicle that matches the current stage of the Referral Campaign.
  • Bonuses for playing in a Platoon with Recruits: +50% to Combat XP and +50% to credits at the end of each battle.
  • The Commander does not receive referral bonuses for playing solo.

Recruit Bonuses:

  • The Recruit receives bonuses at the end of each Random Battle both when playing solo and in a Platoon with their Commander, as long as their vehicle matches the current stage of the Campaign. The bonus does not apply when fighting in rental vehicles.
  • Bonuses for playing solo: +50% to Combat XP and +50% to credits at the end of each battle.
  • Bonuses for playing in a Platoon with their Commander: +100% to Combat XP and +100% to credits at the end of each battle.

Rewards of the Referral Program

Upon completing all 6 stages of the Referral Campaign the Commander will be able to choose one of the Tier VIII premium vehicles with a crew and a slot in the Hangar, or a fixed number of credits.

The Recruit will be able to choose one of the Tier VI or VII premium vehicles with a crew and a slot in the Hangar, or a fixed number of credits.

Ending a Referral Contract

They say breaking up is hard to do, but there are cases where it might be necessary. A Referral Contract can be ended at any time by any of its participants.

Referral Contracts can be broken in the following ways:

  1. The "Break Referral Connection" option in the Context menu on the tile of the player's Referral Program.
  2. The "Break Referral Connection" option in the Context menu on the player's nickname in the interface of the Referral Program completion progress.

After ending the Referral Contract, its participants lose all progress and bonuses. However, players still keep the rewards received within the Referral Program.

Once the Contract is concluded, both participants should receive a notification confirming the termination.

Once terminated, a Contract cannot be restored.
