Overwhelming Fire: Have Fun With Automatic Cannons!
What if tanks were outfitted with rapid-firing automatic cannons? What would the engagements between these steel behemoths be like? Well, now you can participate in these battles yourself—in the new Overwhelming Fire mode! Play in eight unconventional vehicles that are unlike anything you have seen in the game so far. Overwhelming Fire battles will be populated exclusively by these strange and wonderful armored beasts, so prepare for a whole new gameplay experience! There will be three launches of the mode, and you will be able to complete its special missions three times for a total of 1.200.

The Vehicles
Barring their commanders, the eight vehicles available in Overwhelming Fire are the mode’s main stars. It’s jarring just how out of the ordinary they are. Sure, two barrels are nothing unusual these days, but what about a quad-barreled vehicle? Or ones that have six rotating barrels? Fancy a Maus with twin flak cannons? Or a Yoh whose automatic cannon uses a cartridge belt and has a rate of fire so intense that it can overheat? Or an arty that fires rocket salvos? Make sure to try them all!
XFlakpanzer VIII Maus
A superheavy vehicle equipped with high-caliber double-barreled anti-aircraft guns. It does not boast high mobility, but its dynamics are enough to release two shots at the enemy. That said, the Flakmaus itself does not withstand every hit, because only its hull is heavily armored.
Strengths
Double-barreled 88 mm guns
The guns fire one after the other, dealing substantial damage per shot.
High penetration
Well-penetrating shells allow you to face any threat.
Reliable hull armor
The hull is taken from the Maus and has good overall armor.
Weaknesses
Low speed and maneuverability
The vehicle is not very maneuverable, so you will not be able to quickly react to the situation on the battlefield.
Weak turret armor
Be careful when letting the relatively weakly armored turret get hit.
XM5YE2 Thunderclap
A versatile heavy tank, equipped with a 75 mm belt-fed gun and with decent mobility. It can cause the enemy a lot of trouble, but do not forget that its gun is experimental and can overheat. In addition, the vehicle has vulnerable spots, so playing in it will require some skill.
Strengths
Large belt
No need to reload very often: the large belt contains many shells, which lets you focus more on firing.
Good gun handling
Like many other American vehicles, this tank has good gun handling, which makes firing feel so good.
Reliable hull and turret armor
Thanks to its smooth shape, the tank can hardly be called an easy target.
Weaknesses
Gun heating
Active firing will cause the gun to heat up. When firing continuously, the accuracy will decrease until the overheated gun simply stops shooting.
Weak spots in the armor
This tank has a peculiar visual feature: the two drums on the sides of the turret. Sadly, they are very vulnerable to enemy fire.
XObject 143 "Prut"
A vehicle with an excellent armament. Its four-barreled gun demonstrates a high rate of fire, while its good carrier allows it to be used effectively. Together with its decent—though not perfect—armor, this makes a strong combination.
Strengths
Quadruple gun
This tank has good firepower thanks to its quadruple 23 mm gun system.
Rapid rate of fire
The system ensures a great rate of fire and high damage per minute.
Nice speed and maneuverability
This vehicle can quickly adapt to the situation on the battlefield and change directions when needed.
Weaknesses
Weak armor
Despite its sturdy front, the overall armoring and boxy turret make the vehicle pretty vulnerable.
Mediocre penetration
The tank's penetration does not allow it to consistently damage well-protected targets.
XPTV-51
This vehicle with nice armor and mobility is equipped with double-barreled 57 mm guns and is considered the most versatile.
Strengths
Double-barreled 57 mm guns
The two guns firing one after the other have good damage per shot and firing rate values.
Nice speed and maneuverability
This vehicle can quickly adapt to the situation on the battlefield and change directions when needed.
Versatility
This tank can perform a wide range of tasks and is efficient in most situations.
Weaknesses
Weak armor
This vehicle cannot rely on its armor. Its best defense is mobility.
Mediocre penetration
The tank's penetration does not allow it to consistently damage well-protected targets.
XXM551E4 Hailstorm
This descendant of the Sheridan did not inherit its predecessor's powerful 155 mm gun. Instead, it was equipped with a six-barreled rotary Minigun, which allowed it to fire a great number of shells at the enemy in a short time. Its other parameters—mobility, large dimensions, and hull screens—remained unchanged.
Strengths
Six-barrel rotary gun
A powerful six-barreled gun. Each barrel has a 37 mm caliber.
High rate of fire
The rotary barrels ensure an amazing rate of fire and high damage per minute.
Nice speed and maneuverability
This vehicle can quickly adapt to the situation on the battlefield and change directions when needed.
Weaknesses
Large dimensions and weak armor
The vehicle is quite large, but it does not have the best armor, even considering the screens on its hull.
Mediocre penetration
The tank's penetration does not allow it to consistently damage well-protected targets.
XPanhard EBR 40 ter
A "budget version" of the Panhard EBR. It has all the advantages of the original vehicle, except for its gun. Its excellent mobility, small dimensions, and sturdy wheels allow it to cause havoc on the battlefield, and its new 40 mm gun demonstrates an impressive rate of fire.
Strengths
The best (ultimate) speed, mobility, and maneuverability
Nothing can drive faster. Nothing at all!
Weaknesses
Weak armor
This vehicle cannot rely on its armor. Its best defense is mobility.
Mediocre penetration
This vehicle's penetration does not allow it to consistently damage well-protected targets.
XSturmgeschütz E 100
This steel monster is well armored, which compensates for its low mobility and large dimensions. However, its main feature is its armament. Its huge eight-barreled rotary gun simply sweeps opponents aside.
Strengths
Powerful rotary gun
A rotary gun with eight 50 mm barrels allows you to turn any enemy into scrap metal.
Nice damage per burst
Each burst deals a lot of damage in a very short time.
Strong armor
The tank's hull is well protected, but it has a weak point.
Weaknesses
Mediocre speed and maneuverability
The vehicle is not very maneuverable, so you will not be able to quickly react to the situation on the battlefield.
Long reload time
Reloading takes quite some time, so you should think about ways to retreat in advance.
XB-C CS 59
This is not just another cannon artillery. While it has all the mobility and fragility characteristic of B.C.-based vehicles, it is also equipped with two 150 mm rocket launchers. In a single reload cycle, this SPG can fire two salvos of six missiles, covering a wide area.
Strengths
Two rocket launchers
In a single reload cycle, this SPG can fire two salvos of six missiles, covering a wide area. The salvo is always fired fully and it cannot be interrupted.
Steep shell trajectory
The relatively sharp shell trajectory allows you to fire at targets that are normally out of the range of standard artillery.
Large area of effect
Six missiles in a salvo allow you to hit whole areas of the battlefield.
Weaknesses
High dispersion
The vehicle has high dispersion, which leads to poor grouping of shots.

The Rules
Only the eight special vehicles created for the mode can participate in Overwhelming Fire battles. They are all the same tier.
The matchmaker will limit the maximum number of B-C CS 59s (rocket arty) and EBR 40s on a team to two of each. The rest of the vehicles can be mixed and matched with no limits.
Random Battles rules apply: 15v15, with Standard Battles, Assault, and Encounter Battles possible.
Battles can take place on any maps used for Tier X Random Battles (except Grand Battles maps).
You don’t earn credits or XP in the Overwhelming Fire mode, but you don’t spend credits on repairs, ammo, etc. either.
Battle Pass Points and bonds cannot be earned in the mode. Credits and gold are not added to their respective Reserves.
You cannot complete missions except those created specifically for the mode.
Platoons are available, but Platoon bonuses don‘t apply.
Players with low-spec CPUs and graphics cards may encounter performance issues when running the mode. To optimize your game experience, change the graphics settings in your game client in accordance with the capabilities of your CPU and graphics card.
The Rewards
Playing in vehicles wielding a certain number of autocannons (or a couple of rocket launchers in one case) is fresh and original, plus you can earn some bonds by playing and completing special missions.
