Two New Titans of Tier XI
The Tier XI lineup keeps growing! Meet the PTZ-78, a Chinese tank destroyer equipped with advanced solid-fuel boosters that provide not only powerful acceleration but also faster turning and even the ability to execute a quick U-turn to reposition in battle.
Next up, the STK-2, a Japanese heavy tank with an enhanced active gun-cooling system. The vehicle’s gun heats up when fired—the higher its temperature, the more its parameters change. After each shot, it begins cooling down and returning to its base parameters during reload, allowing for more accurate firing. This updated system gives you more control and flexibility in battle.
The American Line Expands
A brand-new branch of American medium tanks is coming—starting from the T20 (Tier VII) and running up to Tier XI. The line culminates in the Ares 90 C, a Tier XI vehicle equipped—like all others in this branch—with a next-generation autocannon featuring a heat-management system. This is not just a new type of gun—it's a whole new way to think about shooting in World of Tanks.
Fire freely with no fixed reload between shots but watch out for overheating: the hotter the gun, the less accurate it becomes. Push it too far, and it will lock until fully cooled down. These tanks also inherit the reserve track system from the Yoh line, ensuring mobility even under fire.
