A new war machine enters the battle! Meet the Object 252U, a Soviet heavy tank that surges into battle with a stout heart and a mighty cannon.

Overview

Like all USSR heavy tanks, tank commanders of the Object 252U should treat it as a close-range brawler in battle and operate it accordingly. The vehicle is exceptionally sturdy owing to its good armour protection, while its gun's alpha damage output allows it to give a good punch to enemy vehicles once an opening is spotted.

The Object 252U's mobility also allows the option of closing in against a target and negating the low accuracy of the gun at long ranges. However, take caution against an enemy with a fast-firing gun, as its DPM can easily overwhelm the Object 252U if caught offguard.

Advantages

• Excellent alpha damage. The damage dealt in a single round from the Object 252U is the best among all Tier VIII heavy tanks.
• Well-rounded armour protection. When used correctly, the Object 252U is capable of withstanding fire from enemy Tier X vehicles.
• Adequate mobility. The Object 252U can move at decent speeds and thus can secure strategic positions quickly, or link up with forward allied vehicles in a concentrated assault.

Disadvantages

• Low accuracy. The Object 252U's gun loses focus at extended range, making it unsuitable for sniping at long distances.
• Delayed rate of fire. While hard-hitting, each shell the Object 252U fires requires a drawn out reloading time. Aspiring commanders of this heavy tank should take note when choosing appropriate combat tactics in the field.
