Global Map: The Power of Alliances

Get ready to conquer the Global Map and extend your clan's reach like never before with the help of your allies! The 10^th Season of Global Map will last from the second part of September until mid-November; after it ends, there will be a massive Clan Wars event to look forward to after the New Year.

More event details will be revealed right here on the portal closer to the date, but in the meantime, here's a sneak preview of the exciting new features in store for you this Season!

General

On the Global Map, clans will be able to establish hierarchical (feudal) units called Alliances.

Each Alliance has a main clan (Major Power) and subordinate clans (Minor Powers). A subordinate clan can have only one Major Power, while a Major Power can have several Minor Powers. Minor Powers pay a tribute of some of the resources they earn on the Global Map to their Major Power through special mechanics.

Alliance Features

Within Alliances (between a Major Power and a Minor Power) the following features will be introduced:

Transferring provinces from one clan to another. A clan can hand over a province it owns to its Minor or Major Power on the Global Map, thus helping an ally to be in the right place on the map at the right time.

Delegating battles. A clan can delegate its attack to a Minor or Major Power on the Global Map, allowing the allied clan to fight in the battle in your clan's stead. This will allow allies to coordinate their moves and expand the strategic possibilities of warfare on the Global Map in many new ways.

Convoys

Once the clans in the Alliance have established their relationship, a portion of the resources each Minor Power earns will begin to accumulate in a special treasury. When sufficient resources have been built up, the Minor Power will be required to send a tribute of some of its earnings on the Global Map to its Major Power.

Beware, however — these resources are not sent directly to the Major Power’s treasury, but instead transferred via the new battle mode on the Global Map: Convoys. Other clans who are not members of the Alliance may be able to intercept this convoy and plunder some of its resources if victorious!
