Vehicle Description

The TS-6 is a Tier IX American heavy tank. It is distinguished by excellent frontal armor of the turret and hull. Also, the 120 mm gun has high alpha damage. In the TS-6, the player must perform the classic tasks of an armored heavy tank in battle, including occupying key positions and breakthrough routes.

Historical Reference

In the early 1950s, the U.S. military authorized a range of research and development projects for a new generation of tanks. The outcome of this was the Questionmark series of conferences. The TS-6 project was presented at one of these in June 1954. The key idea was to develop a vehicle that would be lighter than the Heavy Tank T43 (M103) and T110 but with similar technical characteristics. The project went no further than blueprints.
