Update 2.0 is almost here—marking the most ambitious step forward in the history of World of Tanks. From the introduction of Tier XI vehicles to overhauled matchmaking, changes to hundreds of vehicles, and a wealth of improvements and new content, the battlefield is about to enter a new era.
Skip the wait on launch day by preloading the update now. This will ensure you're ready to roll out the moment the servers go live and start exploring everything 2.0 has to offer.
The download size is 4.15 GB (SD) or 5.82 GB (HD).
How to enable preload:
- Simply open your WGC (Wargaming.net Game Center)
- Check the "Download updates in advance" box in Settings
- Click Save to apply the changes

WoT Premium Account
Players with WoT Premium Account will be credited an additional 24 hours of Premium time to make up for the update maintenance period. If you'd like to make any in-game purchases, please wait until the servers are running again.
Downtime
World of Tanks servers will be down on 2025-08-31 from 18:00:00 (UTC) until 00:00:00 (UTC).
