WoT Championship International: APAC Qualifiers


Meet and battle against the best in the upcoming WoT Championship International tournament (WCI) APAC Regional Qualifiers for a chance to represent the APAC server. The offline finals will be held in China in November!

General Information

The WCI Tournament is the ultimate World of Tanks competition with teams from around the globe! Top teams from Europe, North America, Asia Pacific, and China meet live on stage in epic 7v7 battles and put their best tactics to the test.

The event will happen in Chengdu, China, from November 23 to 24, 2024, and participants have a chance to take home the WCI champion title and their share of the epic 1,000,000 RMB (~138,000 USD) prize pool.

The winner of the Regional Qualifiers will be invited to join the WCI Offline Finals.


APAC Qualifiers

The APAC Qualifiers will be held over two consecutive weekends on July 6-7 and August 3-4, 2024.

The players who emerge victorious in the APAC Qualifiers Playoffs will receive a direct invitation to participate in the WCI Offline Finals.

Terms & Conditions


Please read this carefully before registration!

  • This is an APAC event. Players must have an Asia server account and reside in the Asia-Pacific region in order to participate. Further restrictions may apply to players who qualify for the finals.
    • The following territory is excluded from participation: Vietnam.
    • Note: Players from Mainland China and Hong Kong cannot join as a team.
  • Individuals are allowed to participate in other regions' qualifiers as legionnaires (maximum one per team). No additional substitutions of legionnaires from other regions are allowed in the WCI offline roster.
  • There will be regional qualification tournaments to qualify for the group stage: in EU, NA, CN and APAC regions. Qualification tournaments are held in accordance with the regional rules. Each team or player is allowed to participate in only one qualification tournament within their respective region of residence. In the event that a team or player attempts to participate in qualification tournaments within multiple regions, they will be automatically disqualified from the tournament.

  • A team must consist of at least 7 players of the main roster and up to 2 substitute players. The total number of main and substitute players should not exceed 9. A team consisting of fewer than 7 players is not allowed into the Tournament.
  • The team that qualifies for WCI offline Finals will be able to participate with at least 7 players of the main roster and up to 1 substitute player. The total number of main and substitute players for WCI Finals should not exceed 8, including at least 4 players that participated in the regional qualifiers.
  • Players may only join 1 team at a time; a player who is already part of a team cannot join another team as a legionnaire. Account sharing is prohibited.

  • Strictly no requests for rematches due to team/player absence will be entertained, regardless of reason.

  • Rewards will only be given to players who have participated in at least 1 battle during the tournament.

  • Battle replays may be requested by Wargaming staff at any time; please be sure to keep the Enable Battle Recording feature switched on at all times during the tournament.

  • Wargaming Asia may choose to terminate the contest/event or change/reassign the prize at any time without notice.

  • In addition, Wargaming Asia reserves the right to disqualify players who do not comply with official Wargaming rules and tournament regulations, or those who seek to abuse the mechanics of the tournament. Wargaming Asia may also spectate any tournament battles at its discretion.

  • In-game prizes will be credited within 2 weeks (10 working days) of the end of the tournament.


WCI Participation Conditions & Legal Disclaimers


General Conditions

Each player of the team that, based on the results of this Contest, qualifies for participation in the WCI Tournament acknowledges that for participation in the WCI Tournament, this player has to be able to travel to China during the respective tournament period. This means, among other things:

  1. Having the necessary foreign travel documents and obtaining a Chinese visa.
  2. Not being subject to any specific restrictions that would prevent departure from the country of residence or arrival in China.
  3. Providing travel document details and personal data necessary for arranging the travel to the organizer of the WCI Tournament at its request.
  4. Following the required steps to obtain a Chinese visa in the respective Chinese embassy and fully cooperating on that matter with the organizer of the WCI Tournament.
  5. Bearing certain visa expenses that will be compensated later by the organizer of the WCI Tournament upon the provision of payment documents (which must be kept by the player).

Only players aged 18 (by August 5, 2024) or older are allowed to participate. 

Costs Covered by the WCI Tournament Organizer

As part of a player’s participation in the WCI Tournament, its organizer will cover the following costs:

  • The fee for issuance of the Chinese visa to the player.
  • Travel from the country of the player’s residence to the city where the WCI Tournament will take place and back. The airport of departure in the player’s country of residence will be chosen by the WCI Tournament organizer at their discretion but taking into consideration the convenience of the player and flight ticket availability.
  • Accommodation in China, meals, and insurance for the duration of the WCI Tournament.
  • Travel from the place of accommodation to the location of the WCI Tournament.

Expenses not listed above may have to be borne by the player.

The Right to Invite Additional Teams

The players acknowledge that the organizer of the WCI tournament may invite more than one team from a specific region due to the inability of any other team to participate or other reasons at the organizer’s discretion.

Terms of Participation

Players that do not agree with any of the conditions listed in this section, “CONDITIONS OF WCI TOURNAMENT PARTICIPATION, cannot participate in the WCI Tournament and should inform their team manager about this as soon as possible. The team manager needs to replace any such players with substitutes. In any event, the team roster must have no more than 8 players, including the team manager. It is a requirement of participation that at least 4 players chosen for the WCI Tournament team roster must also be in the team roster of the present Contest.

Players acknowledge that to participate in the WCI Tournament, in addition to the conditions specified above, they accept the official rules of the WCI Tournament that will be made available by its organizer at a later date.

All participating players are required to adhere to universally recognized standards of conduct throughout the competition. It is strictly prohibited to engage in any activities that violate the game rules, local laws, and regulations, the principles of fair competition, or any form of inappropriate behavior. Additionally, players must refrain from making any speech or exhibiting behavior that is deemed inappropriate, including but not limited to those related to race, politics, ethnicity, clan affiliation, or gender.
