[Tournament] Armoured Persona Season 2: Growing Pains – Week 4

Ready for another bout of fun, friendship, and fabulous prizes? That’s right – the Armoured Persona story tournament is back! This time, there will be lots of cool bonus rewards up for grabs alongside your regular gold prize pool, and you’ll have the chance to help influence what some of those rewards are.

Sound exciting? This will be the final week of the story tournament this Season, so don’t forget to register and claim your share of prizes!

Picking up from where we left off last Season, our mischievous light tank specialist Arlette is preparing to take on her responsibilities as the new team captain of the Gun Striders. Will she be able to handle the paperwork, discipline, and management that her role requires? And more importantly, can she re-forge a harmonious team out of the shattered fragments of the past?

Week 4: City Slickers

As might be expected, Arlette’s punishing speed drills don’t go down too well with the team. With everyone too tired out to talk, a sullen silence dominates all through the lunchtime break, punctuated by glares from Nikolai, who has been denied his meal for coming in last. Klara sneaks him a few bites when Arlette’s not looking, but all too soon, it’s time for the second half of the training session.

Arlette: Fall in, people! It’s time for the next 70 laps…

Mikhail (interrupting): Absolutely not. I say we head to the Urban Mech Arena; I have some new tactical manoeuvres I’d like to test out that would be really useful for tournaments, since city maps have been experiencing a revival recently. Everyone will have their own roles to play, and it’ll take lots of teamwork to pull off. But I believe we can do it together. What do you say, Captain?

Arlette: But I hate city arenas! (muttering to herself) And I always get lost in them…

Mikhail (with an evil grin): Don’t worry, you’ll still be leading the charge, Captain. So let’s vote on this. Who’s with me?

Elenor, Nikolai and even gentle Klara raise their hands in vengeful unison.

Arlette (gasping): Is this a mutiny?!

Mikhail (still grinning): Is this not a democracy?

In this week’s tournament, the winning team will enter a boss battle with the ‘Gun Striders’ (the Wargaming eSports team, of course). Should they succeed in defeating the boss, each player will receive an extra 200
