Wargaming is back in action at PAX Australia 2014! [UPDATED]

PAX Australia 2014 is coming very soon, and Wargaming is fully prepared to go in with all guns blazing!

This year, we have tonnes of stuff to show off for all our games, including World of Tanks Blitz, World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition and even a sneak peek at the highly anticipated World of Warships!

But that's not all. Exciting stage activities will be held at the Wargaming booth every day, where we'll give away some serious Wargaming swag. We also have loads of attractive prizes sponsored by gaming giants Razer, Asus and Corsair [UPDATED] at the event - who knows, maybe you could win some really awesome items!

Finally, you'll get a chance to play around with our newest creation: an as-yet unannounced project that we will be revealing at PAX Australia 2014 this year. Be sure to visit us at the event!

Want to visit us at PAX Australia 2014, one of the largest gaming events in APAC? This is your chance to win a FREE trip for two persons to PAX Australia 2014!

Contest Details

Contest Start: 1 September, 2014 (Monday) @ 14:00 UTC+8 (06:00 UTC)

Contest End: 14 September, 2014 (Sunday) @ 23:59 UTC+8 (15:59 UTC)

To participate in this contest, players need only battle in World of Tanks PC between 1st to 14th September. Players must then send us proof of the number of battles fought within that period, along with a short summary of why they should go to PAX Australia 2014.

How to participate:

Step 1

Submit a list of the following details to our official e-mail address (submissions_asia@wargaming.net) according to the submission format shown below:

E-mail Subject: I WANT TO GO TO PAX AUSTRALIA 2014!

E-mail Body:

• IGN
• Full Name
• E-mail address (Please provide a valid address as all correspondences will be conducted via e-mail)
• Identification Number (e.g. passport number, IC number, SSID etc.) (Optional)
• A screenshot of your World of Tanks profile page

This is to ensure that you and your account is genuine - fake accounts or persons will be barred from entering the contest:

Step 2

Qualified entries will have their submission posted on the World of Tanks Facebook Page as soon as they are approved. While your details are being processed, you are allowed to start battling for the contest. Begin playing in battles in World of Tanks PC and accumulate your battle count - the more the better!

Step 3

When you're satisfied with your progress:

• Take another screenshot of your World of Tanks profile page as proof
• Submit it as a comment on the Facebook post containing your first screenshot of your profile, along with the reason why you should be picked to go to PAX Australia 2014.

Winning the Contest

The participant with the most battles, as well as the most convincing reason to visit PAX Australia 2014 (to be decided by us) will win:

1. An ALL EXPENSES PAID trip to Melbourne, Australia for two persons, complete with a full itinerary including a day at PAX Australia 2014, and
   
2. A Corsair Vengeance K70 RGB Keyboard
   
   

While only one winner and his/her guest will be joining us in Melbourne, the rest of the Top 10 entries will also get a little something for their efforts!

Terms & Conditions

• This competition is open to all players with a valid World of Tanks Asia account.
• Entries shall be limited to one game ID (IGN) per social media account unless otherwise specified.
• All contests/events are administered independent of the social media platform on which they appear and participants shall not hold the social media platform responsible for any issues regarding the contest/event.
• Wargaming Asia reserves the right to disqualify entries that contain obscene, offensive, or inappropriate content, those that do not comply with the applicable contest/event rules, or those that seek to abuse the mechanics of the contest/event.
• Winners listed in the results announcement are final. Disputes will not be entertained.
• Wargaming Asia reserves the right to terminate the contest/event or change the prize at any time without notice.
• Winners must be 18 years old and above.
• Winners selected must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of travel.
• Prizes are not exchangeable for cash and are non-transferable.
• Winners must respond to Wargaming's notification within 3 days; any lapse in communication will result in the prize being transferred to the next in line.
• Winners will be notified of the prize collection method after the results of the contest are announced.
• All expenses paid are based on the provided itinerary which includes air fares, breakfast, lunch, dinner and transport.
• Winners are bound to Wargaming's itinerary and must adhere to all request of Wargaming. In cases of non-compliance, winners will be required to recompense part/full payment at Wargaming's discretion.
