So, tell us about yourself! Where are you from? What clan are you in? How long have you been a Community Contributor?
Hi all I’m Flying_Elite, also go by Flying or Elite (yes very original, donut steel) and I’m from the land down under where you aren’t a freaking full grown Aussie until you’ve had an un-branded lemon beverage LONG NECK at twenty to eight in the freakin’ morning. I lived in NSW for the majority of my life but at the end of 2017, I moved with my family to the glorious state of QLD where cold means a cool breeze.
I’ve been a part of several clans over the years, some for the community and others for the competitiveness! ЙЕТИ (YETI) is the clan in which I currently reside – one of the top five in the server. I first started creating my own content for YouTube in 2016 as a hobby, putting up my own Ace Tanker content, I believe I joined the Community Contributor program in early 2017 and have been steadily posting new content since.
What are your top three favourite tanks and why?
This is a difficult question for me as my answer will change on my mood, however my most beloved tanks aren’t ones that I play as often as I should.
The first choice would have to be the Object 907 as it pulls all of the strings. It contains great firepower, mobility and protection and was the tank that I got my first Pool’s Medal in where I killed 12 out of the 15 enemy tanks shortly after receiving it.
The second choice is another Soviet tank, the Obj 260. It’s a potent, fast heavy that has become part of the meta since its last buff, I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience in this tank as it feels super comfortable to play.
The third choice is a more recent one for me, the EBR 75 fl (10) is the Tier VIII premium wheelie bin. It fits my playstyle like a glove where I can be super aggressive and throw out a shot or two and then focus on running away all to do it again! It might not have the best penetration values, but I absolutely love playing it and hope to three-mark it soon!
How often do you usually stream/post videos, and what does your content usually focus on?
I try to post new content at least once a week (with more for this month) and my content is usually my own Ace Tankers or Advances/CW Footage from my clan’s activities, usually including great banter and shenanigans.
What's the single best tip you could give someone trying to improve at World of Tanks?
Put away the pride and ask for help, there is an abundance of resources and people you can access for help be it learn how to penetrate a tank you’re struggling with, how to use your armour better, what did you do wrong in a replay! There is always going to be someone willing to help!
And what's the best tip you could give someone trying to improve their content creation?
Look into other genres for ideas on improvements, could be thumbnail design from the beauty section or music choice from the vloggers, everyone can make their own little corner on YouTube or Twitch if that is your choice of platform.
