Fair Play Update: Bans for Riggers

Commanders,

Keeping the competitive spirit of World of Tanks healthy and lively is of the utmost importance to us. Riggers and cheaters won't be tolerated, and we will remain fully committed to their removal from the game, as this can only improve the experience for everyone else.

Today, we'd like to give an update on the actions we're taking to protect fair play by keeping the riggers out.

What Are Rigged Battles

Rigged battles are matches where players break the rules by creating unfair conditions to gain in-game advantages—such as farming easy damage, boosting stats, or earning rare awards.

This kind of behavior breaks the rules and ruins the experience for players who want to play fair and follow the rules. That's why rigging leads to permanent bans with no prior warning from our side.

Immediate Action on Riggers

Our work against rigged battles continues. In our most recent ban wave, we have enacted the following:

  • 12 riggers banned across the Asia server

All bans for riggers are permanent. We leave no room for error—our team carefully checks every suspicious situation. If a player is banned or penalized, it's because we have 100% verified proof.

Important Note Regarding the Sector 3 Campaign

Fair play is important in all modes, and we made sure to include battles contributing to the new Personal Missions campaign, Sector 3. We appreciate tankers who, through their dedication and skills, move toward recognition. However, we have again identified attempts to complete the campaign dishonestly, and those violators have been permanently banned among other riggers. We strongly recommend refraining from any attempts to obtain rewards through prohibited means, as those who break the rules will be detected and blocked.

Let's continue to maintain a fair environment and enjoy the game responsibly.
