Commanders,
It's of the utmost importance to us to maintain a fair playing field to keep the competitive spirit of World of Tanks healthy and vital. We do not tolerate cheaters or riggers, and their removal from the game can only improve things for everyone else.
Today, we'd like to give an update on the actions we're taking to protect fair play by keeping players who break the rules out.
Immediate Action on Cheaters and Riggers
Our work against cheaters and rigged battles has never stopped. In our most recent ban wave, we have enacted the following:
- 281 cheaters penalized across ASIA1
- 62 cheaters banned across ASIA1
- 15 riggers banned across the ASIA1
Penalization means a first-time warning and a seven-day temporary ban. All other bans are permanent. We leave no room for error—our team carefully checks every suspicious situation. If a player is penalized/banned, it is because we have 100% verified proof.
What Are Rigged Battles?
ExpandRigged battles are matches where players break the rules by creating unfair conditions to gain in-game advantages—such as farming easy damage, boosting stats, or earning rare awards.
This kind of behavior breaks the rules and ruins the experience for players who want to play fair and follow the rules. That's why rigging leads to permanent bans with no prior warning from our side.
Fair Play Is Key
We encourage everyone to stay informed by reviewing our Fair Play Policy and understanding the consequences of violating it.
If you use mods, it's important to ensure that you're only using safe and approved ones. World of Tanks is open to modifications and customizations; however, we do not approve of unwelcome cheat-facilitating software that is used to manipulate gameplay and give unfair advantages. The best way to avoid unnecessary action against your account is by using mods from the official World of Tanks Mod Hub, where all mods are verified and safe to use.
Let's continue to maintain a fair environment and enjoy the game responsibly.
Roll Out!
