How To Play the Object 780

If you've played a few games with the Object 780, you'll have noticed that it has remarkable gun handling stats for a heavy tank; 530 HP alpha damage1.9s aim time, 0.35m dispersion at 100m, and over 2,200 DPM. Coupled with decent gun depression and elevation angles, it can be a threat from almost any distance.

Despite its weight, the Object 780 accelerates quickly and maintains its top speed well. However, with a top speed of 45 km/h, it's not going to win many cross-map races anytime soon. Still, the Object 780 is mobile enough to flank your opponents and shield your allies from light and medium tanks.

But don't be caught out alone! Side armor along with a few key weakpoints on the Object 780 leaves it vulnerable to rounds with more than 260 mm of penetration, so travel with support from your allies to make the most of your powerful gun.

Remember, the Object 780 is a very compact vehicle. Its modules are located close to one another, making it more vulnerable to critical damage. Equipping Modified Configuration will help mitigate the risk.

Taking Down the Object 780

The Achilles heel of this brand-new Tier X Soviet Tank is its small health pool. Although the turret armor offers decent protection, the hull of the  X Object 780  is all about angling. From the front, it offers decent protection, but anywhere else on the hull is another story.

The underplate of the Object 780 is a good way to punish an opponent firing from a ridgeline. Hit the fuel tank located near the front of the tank, and you might even set it on fire. Conversely, if you find yourself looking down on it, aim for the tank's cupola to score a penetrating shot.

If you find yourself staring down the barrel of an Object 780, it would be best to try flanking it, or wait for it to turn. If it tries to sidescrape, don't be afraid to fire at the exposed side armor. Out-flank it if you can, which isn't hard if you can beat its top speed of 45km/h.

Even with its notable firepower, it can be out-damaged quite easily by other Tier X Heavies like the X Super Conqueror . Just be careful if it has friends nearby to support it, or you could end up being the target instead.

Now that you're armed with new knowledge, go out and dominate on the battlefield! What are you waiting for, Commander? Roll Out.
