Tank Commanders!
Welcome again to the illustration column series, where we uncover the mysteries of the less well-known Japanese tanks, through illustrations by artists!
Last time, we learned about how the imported Renault NC27 Otsu supported Japan in the dawn of Japanese tank development. This time, Motohumi “Genbun” Kobayashi will be with us again, and he will bring us the “Type 97 Medium Tank Chi-Ha,” the most recognised Japanese, which is widly popular among some tank fans.
You can see previous parts in the Illustration Column series here.
There'll be more Japanese tanks to come, so keep your eyes open for updates!
