Battle Pass Season IX: FAQ

Battle Pass Season IX has launched and it will be the last Battle Pass of 2022. Find out what you need to know about this season to complete Chapters, earn Tokens, and how to spend them to claim rewards!

Please tell us how the changes to the Personal Reserves mechanics will affect Battle Pass.

All changes to the Personal Reserves mechanics will be implemented in Update 1.18.1. They will primarily affect Personal Reserves in the Base progression.

Here is the announcement of all of the improvements that have been made to the Personal Reserves mechanics and UI. But for now, here are the key changes:

• All Personal Reserves will have a duration of one hour.  
• Personal Reserves for Crew XP and Free XP will be merged into a single combined type. (This also applies to Season IX progression rewards.)  
• Along with the three types of Personal Reserves, there will be two grades of bonuses: Standard (+50% to XP/+50% to credits/+200% to Crew and Free XP) and Improved (+100% to XP/+100% to credits/+300% to Crew and Free XP).

Once the new mechanics are introduced, all Personal Reserves on your account will be converted into new reserves at no loss of value. 

Will the temporary Chapter be available in Season IX?

This Season will be held according to the standard rules. You will have access to three main Chapters, and earn valuable and useful rewards for completing them.
The framework for the temporary Chapter is currently under discussion, so it will take some time before we can definitively answer questions about its future. However, we do not have any announcements planned regarding a temporary Chapter for Season IX.

How does this Season differ from previous ones?

The mechanics of this Season remain the same. You will need to activate a Chapter to start completing its progression and earning rewards. To do so, go to the Battle Pass menu, select the Chapter you want to start, and click Activate Chapter.

After that, you'll start moving along the Chapter progression and receiving rewards. When you've completed a Chapter, you will need to select the next one from the available Chapters and activate it as well. This will be done for every Chapter.

How much time do I have to spend Tokens? Do I have time to consider what I want to purchase or do I need to spend my Tokens right away?

The Token Shop will close on December 20, 2022. This means that you will have some time to decide, even after Season IX ends. However, we definitely do not recommend delaying your purchases. Any unspent Tokens will be converted into bonds at the rate of 1 Token = 100 bonds.
And the Cobra is much better than bonds.

What can I use my Tokens for? You have a lot of rewards to choose from, so it may be hard for me to decide right away.

This year, three new items have been added to the Token Shop.

Above all, make sure to check out the bundle with Bounty Equipment available for 3 Tokens. You can even receive extra Bounty Equipment in exchange for 3 more Tokens from the free Battle Pass Reward Track. This bundle is available for purchase once per Season, so we strongly recommend considering it. Don't forget that Bounty Aiming or a Turbocharger can significantly boost your gaming experience.

The Cobra: Ever since June, this British medium tank has been stirring up emotions in Random Battles. This vehicle impresses allies and enemies alike, and, of course, Cobra owners themselves. The tank's 4-shell magazine offers an unforgettable opportunity to surprise a careless opponent with a fast and punishing barrage of HESH shells. Or load the more familiar HEAT shells, which deal less damage but offer better chances. This vehicle can even slow down heavy and armored enemies.

The Cobra is fascinating and memorable.

The Lorraine 50t: This vehicle offers a more familiar and straightforward gameplay. The Lorraine is a moderately armored and rather mobile heavy tank with a comfortable gun. You will be able to fire at medium and long distances, and quickly change positions so as to choose the right moment to strike, instead of waiting for the enemy to make a mistake.

How do I earn rewards?

What is Battle Pass?

Battle Pass is a seasonal game event where you earn Progression Points in Random Battles and progress through Stages. As you complete the Stages, you will earn valuable rewards, such as unique crew members, decals, days of WoT Premium Account, bonds, credits, Personal Reserves, directives, blueprint fragments, Crew Books, Garage slots, Tokens, and standard and Bounty Equipment.

Here's what you need to do.

Go to the Chapter selection menu and decide which reward you want most. Then, go to the menu for this Chapter and click the Activate Chapter button. After that, complete the Stages and collect rewards!

In the same Chapter menu, you will also have the option to purchase an Improved Battle Pass. With this pass, you will receive many more rewards for the same actions. Players who want to get their rewards immediately will be able to purchase additional Progression Stages, allowing them to collect all the rewards at the beginning of the Season. This option is available to players who purchase the Improved Battle Pass.

When do my Battle Pass IX points expire?

The deadline is the same as the duration of Season IX - you will have time until 29 November, 02:00 UTC+8 to spend all your BP points.

With upcoming Personal Reserves changes, will the ones I already earned on my account expire?

All Personal Reserves on your accounts when the new mechanics are applied will be turned into new Personal Reserves with no expiration date.
