Tank Commanders!
The first Common Test for Update 1.9.1 is waiting for you, with some really exciting new content. You’ll have the opportunity to try out some fresh Ranked Battles mechanics that you’ll experience during the 2020–2021 Seasons, and we’re also adding new types of Bounty Equipment, Bounty Optics and the Bounty Stabilizer, as well as improving some interfaces and navigation menus in Battle Pass. Finally, you’ll have the chance to try out new customization mechanics, as well as Berlin, a picturesque new map for Random Battles. Let’s take a closer look.
Ranked Battles 2020–2021: Changes Are Coming!
Get ready for new levels of excitement and challenge in three Seasons of Ranked Battles 2020–2021! They’ll feature several changes and fresh mechanics that will allow you to engage even more in this competitive mode.
We’re introducing special stand-alone daily missions for different vehicle roles, which will become available as soon as you qualify for a League. Added each day, these special missions will reward you with bonds and Daily Bonus Battles.
What Are Daily Bonus Battles?
These are analogues of the Bonus Battles that, for previous Seasons, doubled the number of chevrons you earned during them. Daily Bonus Battles are also applied once a day automatically for each Tier X vehicle. If you don't receive a chevron after the battle, then the Daily Bonus Battles mechanic won’t be applied.
Daily Bonus Battles are just like "regular" Bonus Battles, but with two important differences:
- They are spent before regular Bonus Battles.
- They are not carried over to the next day.
How to Get Daily Bonus Battles
You’ll need to complete the special daily missions mentioned above. They’ll also be credited each day in Leagues, depending on the number of chevrons you received for completing Qualification.

Battle Pass: New Bounty Equipment
Over the past few weeks, we’ve been carefully analyzing your progress in Battle Pass, while reviewing your questions and suggestions. We’re actively working on the second Season of this long-term event by making new adjustments to the in-game interface to make it simpler and more user-friendly.
All rewards in Battle Pass during the first Common Test are for testing purposes and will be replaced by other prizes, with the exception of the two new types of Bounty Equipment. Be the first to try out Bounty Optics and Bounty Stabilizer, both of which will be available to all Commanders. These items will be added to the reward pool on the live server in the second Season of Battle Pass, so you’d better stay tuned! You’ll have the opportunity to experience all the changes and improvements during future Common Test iterations.
Explore Berlin in Random Battles!
The new Berlin map for Random Battles, previously tested during the Update 1.9.1 Supertest, will be available during all Common Tests.
This atmospheric 1050 x 1050-meter map of the German capital during the final weeks of the Second World War in Europe was recreated with high historical accuracy. You can easily spot its most famous landmarks and even take a virtual stroll through the city. Learn more about the Berlin locale and its four main battle areas in a dedicated article.
New Customization Mechanics
In Update 1.9.1, we’re introducing the fresh customization mechanics that were previously announced during the Supertest. Now they are available to all Commanders, so join the test and make your tanks really stand out from the crowd!
First, we’re adding brand-new progressive customization decals for almost all styles. They will change their appearance as you complete certain objectives (e.g. accomplish specific combat achievements) in Random Battles using specific tanks.
In addition, there will be projection decals (including rectangular ones that can be applied to the entire side of the tank) for all tiers and all nations.
Finally, new tweakable styles will be available for gold in the game client with the release of Update 1.9.1. These are custom looks that you can modify, remove, or add individual elements to.
