Commanders!
Vehicle balance adjustments continue in Update 1.28.1, focusing on tank destroyer branches of the U.S.A., the U.S.S.R., Germany, and Japan.
As with previous adjustments of other branches and vehicles, these changes are based primarily on performance data. The aim is to enhance underperforming vehicles while slightly adjusting overperformers without altering their core playstyles.
Let's break down the key changes per branch.
Improvements for the T110E4 Branch (Tiers VI–X)
The T110E4 line has received significant enhancements to mobility and gun handling, allowing for smoother engagements, easier adaptation to dynamic battle conditions, and faster repositioning on the battlefield. Reverse speed has been increased, providing greater flexibility when retreating or repositioning under fire. Additionally, improvements to stabilization and aiming time make shots more precise, ensuring greater effectiveness in combat.
Rebalance Highlights
The
X
T110E4
benefits from a faster reverse speed, improved aiming time, and quicker turret rotation, allowing for better repositioning and target tracking. The
IX
T30
delivers even more devastating firepower with enhanced penetration and damage, though its reload time has been slightly increased to maintain balance. Meanwhile, the
VIII
T28 Prototype
now boasts greater penetration and damage output, reinforcing its ability to punch through armored opponents while maintaining its deliberate, methodical playstyle.

Improvements for the Object 268 Branch (Tiers II–X)
The Soviet TDs up to the Object 268 have been enhanced with improved accuracy, mobility, and gun depression, increasing their overall flexibility in battle. The top-tier vehicle now boasts better gun dispersion and reduced aiming time, making its long-range shots more reliable. Meanwhile, the other vehicles in this branch have additionally received refinements to their mobility and aiming parameters, allowing them to reposition more effectively and deliver precise firepower with greater consistency.
Rebalance Highlights
The
X
Object 268
is now a more precise and responsive sniper, with improved gun dispersion and reduced aiming time, ensuring greater accuracy at long range. The
IX
Object 704
has also received enhanced gun accuracy and aiming time, making its devastating shots even more reliable, while a higher top speed improves its ability to reposition when needed. Meanwhile, the
VIII
ISU-152
now delivers even stronger blows, with increased HEAT and APCR penetration, ensuring it remains a formidable force against heavily armored targets.

Improvements for the Jagdpanzer E 100 Branch up to the Jagdtiger (Tiers IV–IX)
While the Jagdpanzer E 100 remains unchanged, its predecessors have received notable enhancements to their accuracy and maneuverability. Gun dispersion and aiming times have been improved, particularly for mid-tier German tank destroyers, allowing for more consistent precision at various engagement distances. Additionally, traverse speeds have been increased, making these vehicles more responsive in close encounters and better suited for adapting to shifting battlefield conditions.
Rebalance Highlights
The
IX
Jagdtiger
now aims faster, reloads quicker, and moves more efficiently thanks to increased engine power, making it a more effective damage dealer. The
VIII
Ferdinand
also benefits from shorter reload times, improved AP and APCR penetration, and reinforced frontal armor, allowing it to hold defensive positions with greater resilience and firepower.

Slight Reductions for the Ho-Ri 3 Branch (Tiers V–X)
The Japanese TD line has undergone slight adjustments to ensure a balanced performance while preserving its distinct playstyle. These refinements are designed to maintain the branch's strengths while addressing certain areas of overperformance. The top reverse speed has been slightly reduced, making tactical retreats a bit more deliberate without significantly impacting overall mobility. Additionally, minor increases in gun dispersion encourage more calculated shot placement while still allowing these vehicles to excel in mid-range engagements. Lastly, a modest reduction in view range adds a layer of strategic depth, rewarding careful positioning without diminishing effectiveness.
Rebalance Highlights
The
X
Ho-Ri 3
now has a marginally reduced reverse speed and slightly increased gun dispersion, requiring more calculated positioning without drastically impacting its performance. The
IX
Ho-Ri 1
sees a minor accuracy adjustment and a slight reduction in view range, rewarding careful engagement tactics. Meanwhile, the
VIII
Ho-Ri 2
compensates for a slightly longer reload time with increased damage across all shell types, ensuring it remains a high-impact threat in battle.

Module Changes
Module research has been streamlined to make stock configurations more convenient.
- Permanently removed modules have been automatically compensated in XP on the Tier I vehicle of the corresponding branch.
- New gun modules introduced in this update will need to be restocked with an appropriate ammo loadout before heading into battle.
- Researched modules removed from the affected branches but applicable to other compatible vehicles are stored in the Depot.
Update 1.28.1 fine-tunes four popular tank destroyer branches to keep battles fair and engaging and reshape battlefield dynamics. Take them for a spin, and let us know how these changes impact your strategies!
