Don't have the STB-1 researched yet? Make use of the EXP and Crew EXP bonuses on all vehicles in the tech tree branch to ascend as quickly as possible while training up a good crew. While you're at it, don't forget to work on the new mission that awards enough consumable rewards to keep your tanks in tip-top shape.
