Tank Commanders,
For this anniversary, we’ve got bundles upon bundles of rare tanks. Some are packed with boosters too so you can enjoy a good rush of EXP. Several cool tanks have joined the party – including the old faithful TOG II which we haven’t seen in a while. This special’s highlight has got to be the new tank on the block - the Turán III Prototípus.

The German tech tree has many fans for reasons. With the pressure of facing tanks from the USSR, Hungary recognised the power of its German ally’s armoured vehicles. With a lack of resources, Hungary modified existing vehicles to include a gun modified from German technology. And the Turán III prototype was born. Can it beat a Soviet vehicle in World of Tanks? Give it a try! |
The FV201 (A45) is a heavy tank on the British tech tree. As most heavy tanks, this vehicle moves rather slowly. Your best strategy while using this tank will be firing on the move. Its armour is fairly strong too, so be the shield of your team while everyone picks off enemies one by one. |
The Löwe is a Tier VIII Premium heavy tank. It has an excellent gun for a Tier VIII heavy with better accuracy & penetration compared to a Tiger II’s top gun. The excellent view range allows you to earn credits quickly. The tank’s upper glacis armour is strong enough to withstand 122mm of penetration and its well-sloped front of turret can bounce of shells even from Tier IX TDs |
The T34 is a premium tier 8 heavy tank from the American tech tree. It is one of the highest damage dealers for a tier 8 heavy. With a powerful gun, shots can even penetrate certain tier 10 vehicles. Be careful to watch your back. Because there are lower-tiered tanks out there that can take down this tank with surprise attacks from behind. Utilize the T34's strengths by supporting the team from behind. |
The IS-6 is a Tier VIII premium heavy tank which belongs to the Soviet tech tree. This tank has decent mobility for a Tier VIII heavy – especially when compared to the Löwe. It packs a punch with its high damage and can prove to be a lethal weapon in close proximity engagements. It has one of the highest DPM among Tier VIII premium heavy tanks. It has thick, well-angled armour from the front & sides. Its weakness lies in the rear armour where the fuel tanks are located. But if you're careful enough to prevent exposing this area to your opponents, you'll be kicking up a storm with this vehicle on the battlefield. Oh, and did we mention what a credit-maker this machine is? |
The 112 is a Tier 8 Chinese heavy tank. Most people will agree that the 112 is like a distant cousin of the IS-6 due to an approximately equal amount of armour and gun performance. However, there are some key differences that separate one from the other; its armour is slightly thicker and is distributed more towards the front rather than the sides, enabling it to withstand more hits in a head-on attack. The gun's performance is equally impressive, which is enhanced by the premium HEAT rounds that it can fire. With it, one can achieve a powerful 250 penetration rating, which can demolish all but the toughest tanks in the game. As the speed of the 112 is adequate at best, the tank is most suited for brawling in close range, where its armour and armament can outlast the enemy. |
The T26E4 Super Pershing is an American tier 8 premium medium tank which has improved armour in comparison to the M26 Pershing. It is even possible for some shells to penetrate the spaced armour without the tank taking serious damage. The tank's DPM and accuracy are decent. However, do take note that the T26E4 Pershing is very slow for a medium tank. So, use strategies that work best with medium tanks. Knowledge of different terrains and sneaking up on enemies from the rear and sides will contribute to your future victories. |
The Light Mk. VIC is a fun tier 2 light tank from the British tech tree. It is capable of firing around 100 shots a minute through its 15mm BESA machine gun - which can take down tanks with weak armour. Although it takes time to accelerate, controling the tank's movement is relatively easy, so mobility isn't a problem. If you're looking for a good scouting tank, this is it! |
The T7 Combat Car is a USA tier 2 premium light tank. It has good speed and decent maneuverability. It is equipped with an auto-loader gun which enables it to deal high amounts of burst damage. However, it comes with a fairly long reload time. |
The TOG II has a generous dose of HP and strong armour. Its angled armour can also bounce enemy shells. Get this tank if you are looking for a survivor that can deal good damage. This British tier 6 heavy tank has a good rate of fire, accuracy, and penetration. Many tankers make fun of the TOG II's size - it is clumsy at running and hiding. But it can be an intimidating force when used defensively or in support roles. Never underestimate the TOG II! |
