AMX Chasseurs de Chars

If you like to move fast and hit hard, the AMX Chasseur de chars is the medium tank for you. This Tier VIII Medium Tank accelerates quickly and tears across the battlefield at a maximum speed of 57 km/h, blowing its foes away with its highly efficient main gun. Its main gun is accurate, fast-aiming, rapid-firing and has high penetration. It also gets a whole 10 degrees of gun depression, which makes it very effective on slopes.
Its main weakness is its complete lack of armour. This tank is essentially made of cardboard, and will go up in flames at the slightest touch. Don't let anything touch you.
Pros:
- Powerful gun: accurate, fast-firing and aiming, high-penetrating, high shell velocity
- High top speed and amazing acceleration; thanks to its marvelous engine
- Great gun depression at 10 degrees; effective on hilly terrain
- High ammunition count
- Excellent credit-earner
Cons:
- Non-existent armour
- Average camouflage values and huge profile for a medium tank; even bigger than some heavy tanks
- Traverse feels a bit sluggish compared to the speed and acceleration of the tank
- Frequent ammo rack damage, but it rarely explodes when hit
- No preferential matchmaking
