[Tank Guide] Panhard EBR 75

In general, wheeled vehicles are quite different from conventional tanks, even light ones. But as if that weren't enough, the  VIII Panhard EBR 75 (FL 10)  has some noticeable differences from, let’s say, the Lynx 6x6. All in all, you’re in for a unique experience with this French masterpiece!

Gameplay

In terms of survivability, the EBR 75 relies solely on its superior speed and camouflage value to either not get hit or spotted at all. However, if it comes down to taking a hit, the armour is fairly angled and gives at least a tiny bit of protection against HE shells. Obviously, anything else will punch through with ease.

Even for light tanks, the mobility of this vehicle is outstanding, and on par with the Lynx 6x6. This allows you to get in and out of action fairly quickly, which is especially useful with the two-round autoloader. Note that when it comes to scouting, you need to keep the extremely low view range in mind, which you must enhance with the proper equipment and crew skills (see below).

Use the lock-on feature regularly to concentrate on your driving.

The two-round autoloader is what sets the EBR 75 apart from the other wheeled vehicles, as it's the only one with a clip. Use it to dish out some damage quickly and then retreat to reload. Aside from that, the 'just okay' accuracy is greatly enhanced with standard APCR shells and incredible aiming time. This, together with excellent stabilisation, will help you hit targets reliably on the move, no matter the speed. Have a couple of high-penetration HE shells ready for squishy targets.

In short: Use your camouflage to sneak around and light up enemies on open fields, and the speed to get out of danger quickly. Take a shot (or two, in this case) at targets, but remember to keep your eyes on the road.

Equipment

Recommended Setup
Hover your cursor over the images for more information on each piece of equipment.

Because the EBR 75 has a two-round autoloader, a Tank Gun Rammer is not available. So if you want to improve the magazine reload time, go for Improved Ventilation. The Vertical Stabiliser will make it easier to hit your targets while driving, and you'll be doing that a lot! Finally, the Coated Optics will give you that plus in view range you desperately need.

Keep in mind that wheeled vehicles cannot mount a Binocular Telescope.
