Update 1.25: Common Test 2 Is Here!

The second Common Test of Update 1.25 is now available.

This Test is available for technical purposes and doesn’t introduce new content. However, it is the perfect opportunity to test drive all the vehicles you don't have on your account yet and experiment with various equipment setups.

The Common Test offers a sneak peek at the upcoming game version before its official release. We're eager to hear your initial thoughts on the upcoming features, new game modes, vehicles, game changes, and more. This way, we can understand how the community feels about the next update and catch issues ahead of time.

How to Participate in the Common Test

To take part, you'll need the Wargaming.net Game Center (WGC), the latest Common Test game client, and an active World of Tanks account created prior to the cut-off date (see below).

Eligibility

All active World of Tanks accounts created before May 1, at 05:59 UTC+8 can participate in the test.

Download and Install the Test Client

TEST CLIENT INSTALLER

  • Run the test client installer.
  • Choose a different installation folder from where your regular World of Tanks game files are.
  • Select the freshly installed test client from the drop-down menu at the top of the WGC.
  • Roll out—and remember to pass on your feedback!

Main Changes

Battle Pass

  • The event will honor the 80th anniversary of the Normandy landings and will feature new customization elements and vehicles inspired by real historical events.
  • The final reward for each Chapter has been changed: Instead of progressive 3D styles, players can now receive Tier VI Premium vehicles with their own unique permanent 3D styles as Base Rewards.
  • Missions for ×5 XP have been added as a reward.
  • Some minor technical improvements have been made.

Fixed Issues and Improvements

  • Fixed the issue of the Retrain Crew button being unavailable for a crew member who was not fully trained.
  • Fixed the issue of the vehicle with 3D style not being displayed when the player navigated to the showroom screen from the preview screen in Onslaught mode.
  • Fixed the issue of a black screen being displayed if the Esc key was pressed immediately after opening the Stories mode.
  • Fixed the issue of a player's Dog Tag remaining visible when they rejoined a battle after having closed the game client using Alt + F4.
  • Fixed some interface and technical issues.
