1. General Regulation

The Wargaming.net League ASIA 2014 is organized by the TeSL in partnership with Wargaming.net. TeSL may contact players with regards to tournament.

 

2. Tournament Structure

The entire tournament structure will be divided into different series levels: Qualifying Stage, Bronze Series, Silver Series, Gold Series and Season Finals.

Bronze Series

Weekly Online Preliminaries 64 teams by Wargaming.net online tournament system.

  • Open Registration for weekly Bronze will be on Friday 12:00pm UTC+8
  • Close Registration for weekly Bronze will be on Friday 12:00pm UTC+8

Round Schedule

  • Round 1 (1/32, 64 teams), Random from Map Pool: Saturday, 18:00 UTC +8 (10:00 UTC)
  • Round 2 (1/16, 32 teams), Random from Map Pool: Saturday, 19:15 UTC +8 (11:15 UTC)
  • Round 3 (1/8, 16 teams), Random from Map Pool: Saturday, 20:30 UTC +8 (12:30 UTC)
  • Round 4 (1/4, 8 teams), Random from Map Pool: Sunday, 18:00 UTC +8 (10:00 UTC)
  • Semi-Finals, Random from Map Pool: Sunday, 19:15 UTC +8 (11:15 UTC)
  • 3rd Placing & Final, Random from Map Pool: Sunday, 20:30 UTC +8 (12:30 UTC)

Top 4 teams from Bronze series will be rewarded with points, the amount of points awarded will depend on the position placed. This Weekly Point System only applies to Bronze Series.

Points for teams:

  • 1st Place 250 Points
  • 2nd Place 150 Points
  • 3rd Place 100 Points
  • 4th Place 70 Points

 

Gold Reward for weekly Bronze Series

  • 1st – 4th Place: 2,000 Gold
  • 5th – 8th Place: 1,500 Gold
  • 9th – 16th Place: 1,000 Gold
  • If a team is disqualified, they will have to forfeit their points.
  • At the end of the season, Top 2 teams will automatically be seeded into Silver Series for the next Season.
  • 3rd and 4th placed teams will have a promotion playoff against the 5th and 6th placed teams in Silver Series to earn their spot in Silver Series for the next Season.
  • The draw results for the Bronze Series will be published via the WARGAMING website.
  • Map will be chosen randomly from the map pool.
  • Sides: (Team 1 / Team 2) will be decided randomly.
  • The tournament format for Bronze Series is Single Elimination.
  • The first team to win three out of five games wins the match. (Best of 5)
  • If either team fails to secure three wins, the team with more wins secured will advance – regardless of the number of draws (i.e. Team A won twice against Team B but drew 3 other rounds. As the final score is 2:0 in favor of team A, team A will advance into the next round).

 

3. Match Rules

3.1 Game Settings

  • Match Mode: Standard game mode
  • Battle Time: 7 minutes
  • Team roster size: 11
  • Starting line-up: 7
  • Maximum number of reserves: 4

 

3.2 Map Pool

  • Himmelsdorf
  • Ruinberg
  • Ensk
  • Cliff
  • Prokhorovka
  • Mines
  • Steppes

 

3.3 Tanks Regulations

Team tier point limit: 42 (Consisting of 7 tanks with total tier points not exceeding 42 points)

Vehicle limitations: Tier 8 or below vehicles are allowed.

  • Teams may contain tanks of different nations.
  • Premium vehicles are allowed.
  • Items: Gold ammo and Gold consumables are allowed.

 

3.4 Victory Condition

All enemy vehicles are destroyed within the time-limit or the base is captured within the time-limit.

 

3.5 Draw Rule

In the event of a draw during Bronze Series online qualifier, both teams will be disqualified.

 

3.6 Preparation – Before, during and after the round

Before the Round

3.6.1    Players are recommended to be online at least 30 minutes before the start of the round.

3.6.2    Reserve players are an available option to replace team members who do not show up for the tournament.

3.6.3    A team automatically forfeits the battle if not correctly readied by the scheduled time.

3.6.4    If a team cannot provide the minimum number of players for the battle, they may still battle with available players, unless otherwise stated on the tournament page.

3.6.5    If a team cannot provide the maximum number of tier points for the battle, they may bring fewer tier points, unless otherwise stated on the tournament page.

3.6.6    Every player is responsible for understanding all materials in our Rules and Regulations.

3.6.7    Team captains are responsible for ensuring all tier rules are understood and followed.

 

During the Round

3.6.8    Ensure that replays are being saved to your replays folder for documenting your battles.

3.6.9    Use screenshots as supporting documentation when necessary.

3.6.10    Send a forum PM to the tournament administrator for any immediate concerns.

 

After the Round

3.6.11    After each round, teams are allowed to rotate their players (listed reserve player in the team roster only) before the start of next round.

Infringement of any of the above rules will result in immediate disqualification.

 

4. Gold Payments

4.1    Gold is credited to player accounts as quickly as possible.

4.2    Gold payments could take up to 14 days after the tournament has finished to be credited.

4.3    There may a delay in crediting the gold if a player changes his/her name during or immediately after the tournament concludes.
