New Swedish MTs

Three new high-tier Swedish medium tanks join our game as part of this update. Starting from Tier VIII, these Swedish mediums all have a unique gameplay feature: air suspension. All three top-tier vehicles boast high damage per shot and good mobility.

Swedish HT Rebalance
With the new sub-branch of Swedish medium tanks coming, we’re also rebalancing some of the nation’s other vehicles in the heavy branch. Thanks to your feedback, we revised the characteristics of the following tanks:

Excluded Maps

With this update we’re rolling one of your most commonly requested features: the ability to block a specific map in matchmaking. Now you can blacklist one map of your choice when playing Tier IV vehicles or higher.

WoT Premium Account

We’re introducing WoT Premium Account: a separate form of Premium Account that offers unique features exclusively for World of Tanks players. In addition, all owners of WoT PA will have one more slot for excluding, so you can block 2 Random Battles maps instead of one. The regular Premium Account remains available and will work across the entire Wargaming trilogy (World of Tanks, World of Warships, and World of Warplanes).

SPG Rebalance
The time has come for a comprehensive review of SPGs, Commanders! For the first time since 2017, we’re rebalancing the basic mechanics of artillery as well as the performance characteristics of individual SPGs.

We’re reducing the minimum stun duration.
In addition, we’re reducing the amount of damage at the edge of the splash.
We’re also decreasing the duration of the stun from all artillery hits on already stunned vehicles as well as vehicles equipped with a Spall Liner.

Vehicles: Rebalancing HE

Following your feedback, we reworked the performance characteristics of the Type 4 Heavy, the Type 5 Heavy, and the FV4005. The changes being introduced are significant, but we hope they will make the gameplay more enjoyable.

 

Styles

Customize your vehicles with a new package of historical custom looks. They’re available for gold and allow you to add even more character and individuality to your favorite tanks!

Premium Account

Players with Premium will be credited an additional 24 hours of WoT Premium Account time to make up for the update maintenance period. If you’d like to make any in-game purchases, please wait until the servers are running again.

Downtime

World of Tanks servers will be down on 03/05 from 02:00 to 09:00 (UTC+8) to get everything in order.
