[Winner Announcement] 2022 World of Tanks APAC Fan Art Awards!

Greetings, Commanders!

It's been two months of waiting. And now we have our winners for the 2022 World of Tanks APAC Fan Art Awards!

As referred in the previous APAC Fan Art Awards announcement, the criterion for the Community Choice Awards is 100% based on the player online poll results.

We are also announcing the three winners from each region (total 9 winners) along with the APAC Community Choice Awards (total 8 winners) player poll results!

An internal audit to select regional winners was conducted from October 24 to November 2. The artworks that met the judging criteria such as completeness, expressiveness, and appropriateness of materials were selected as winners for each region.

It was not easy to select the regional winner from among submitted artworks full of ingenious ideas and outstanding admiration, but the winners were carefully selected based on judging criteria.

Please give a round of applause to the Regional winners and APAC Community Choice Awards winners!

*Details about the random bonus code given to those who participated in the online poll will be announced by end of November via World of Tanks official social media channels.

We would like to thank everyone who submitted invaluable works to the 2022 World of Tanks APAC Fan Art Awards.

Korea regional winners

"All the Shermans in WoT"

2nd Place - Turtle!

Artist: Heo Yun-jae

Artist's Description:

"As the autumn approaches, the T95 tank destroyer, while taking a very slow stroll in the park, stumbles upon some 'real' turtles at play, and jumps into the water without any hesitation! Although I can't play freely like a 'real' turtle, my friends seem to like it a lot! It's getting colder in autumn, but it looks so warm today!"

3rd Place - Like Father, Like Son

Artist: Choi Wonjun

Artist's Description:

"A vast field where a beautiful sun sets,

The father, a veteran as a hunter, is passing on the hunter's know-how to his son, who is at the beginning of his growth. The father brings a backpack full of supplies for his son, and in return, the son defeats the enemy tanks.

As evidenced by firepower and the tank ace decal, the father proves to be a great hunter and veteran.
Although the son is a novice hunter taking his first steps on the hunter's path, he shows extraordinary shooting skills as if to prove that he is the son of a great father.

A son who exemplifies his father's experience and skill,
And a father whom such a son was proud of.

The armor of both vehicles, reflecting the sun, still shines today."
