Greetings from Wargaming Special Projects Team!

Wargaming and RAF Museum recently pulled the only known Dornier 17 WWII bomber out of the ocean. The RAF Museum’s mobile app allows you to visualize the do17 in virtual space, if you can’t make it to the exhibition in England.

Users of the mobile app are invited to submit photos of their nearest virtual do17, for a chance to have those photos exhibited at the unveiling of our next do17 exhibition in London.

Further instructions can be found at the RAF Museum Site.

Download the app, take a photo of your nearest virtual Do 17 aircraft, and submit it to photos@do17.co. Make sure to include your name and location in the email.

The Android version of the app is coming soon, and the download link will be placed on the RAF Museum Site.

The most creative photos will be featured in the grand unveiling of Wargaming.net Dornier 17 Interpretation Zone at the RAF Museum in London in early 2014.

Rules and Terms

THESE RULES CONTAIN A PUBLICITY WAIVER AND LIMIT OUR LIABILITY– PLEASE READ IN FULL.}

^{Participation is totally optional and does not result in the award of any cash, points, or in-game currency to users.}  

^{How to Participate}

<sup>1. Download the AppARition(r) app.
2. Users may (but need not) find the nearest virtual Dornier 17 using this map
3. Visit the virtual Dornier 17 of your choice, and using the camera function on the AppARition app, take some photos.
4. Upload your single most creative photo here (each, a “Submission”).</sup>

^{NOTE: By uploading an entry, you grant Wargaming America Inc. an exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, unlimited right and license in and to the Submission, including without limitation the right to use, copy, modify, reproduce, distribute, display and make derivative works of such Submissions for any purpose, including without limitation commercial purposes, in its sole discretion.}

^{Wargaming will announce selected photos prior to the exhibit opening in London in a time and manner determined in its sole discretion.}

^{Winners will be selected based on what Wargaming and a committee it shall designate, in their sole discretion, considers the most creative photos.  The number of winners selected and the display in which winner will be selected is dependent upon the constraints of physical display spaces and shall be determined by Wargaming in its sole discretion.}  

^{Restrictions on Participation}

^{You must be at least eighteen years old to participate.  Any individual may submit a maximum of one Submission.  While photographers whose photos are selected are more than welcome to visit the exhibit once it is open, their photos being chosen does not include entry into the limited-access opening ceremony, nor associated travel logistics or costs. Submissions must be made from within AppARition app.  Wargaming may reject or exclude any Submission in its sole discretion for any reason, including without limitation offensive or distasteful content. Entries must be made for submissions solely through the official contest submission page, using only the appARition app.
Any image, Submission, or associated message comply with our Terms of Service and EULA.}

^{Wargaming need not award any prizes to any participant, and in the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be deemed mailed with the prior written consent of the winner and the winner assumes any risk of loss or damage after shipment.  Wargaming is not responsible for the safe arrival of a physical prize.}

^{Prizes are not transferable.  Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash.}

^{Wargaming.net and the RAF Museum reserve the right to utilize submitted content in any manner it sees fit, and, by submitting an entry or Submission, you expressly and irrevocably consent to any such use.}

^{Publicity Waiver and Release}

^{You agree to the following:}

^{I hereby authorize Wargaming and its affiliates, successors and assignees, and its employees, officers, directors and agents (collectively the “Company”) to use and publicize my likeness as contained in a photo or photos submitted to its Wargaming.net Dornier 17 Global Photo Contest, which may be included in Company-related marketing materials, including print, websites or other electronic forms of media which are then made available nationwide to users, employees and gaming professionals. In exchange for the intangible value I will gain by being featured in the Company’s marketing materials, and other good and valuable consideration, I give the Company my permission for such use and publicity for such purposes, according to the terms and conditions set forth in this Publicity Waiver and Release. I understand that photos submitted for the Wargaming.net Dornier 17 Global Photo Contest will be chosen on the basis of originality, adherence to theme, subject matter, creativity and image quality and there is no guarantee that any photo(s) of me will be selected or published in any print or electronic format.}

^{I hereby irrevocably permit and authorize Wargaming to use the photo(s) of me in its Company-related market­ing materials, including websites or other electronic forms or media without my prior approval on a perpetual basis throughout the world and in any medium or format whatsoever now existing or hereafter created without further notice, consent from or royalty, payment or other compensation to me.}

^{I hereby irrevocably transfer and assign to the Company my entire right, title and interest, if any, in and to the photo(s). I acknowledge and agree that I have no right to review or approve any use of my photo(s) before they are used by the Company, and that the Company has no liability to me for any editing or alteration of the photo(s).}

^{To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I hereby irrevocably waive all legal and equitable rights relating to all liabilities, claims, de­mands, actions, suits, damages and expenses, including but not limited to claims for copyright or trademark infringement, infringement of moral rights, defamation, invasion of rights of privacy, rights of publicity, intrusion, false light, public disclosure of private facts, physical or emotional injury or distress or any similar claim or cause of action in tort, contract or any other legal theory, now known or hereafter known in any jurisdiction throughout the world (collectively, “Claims”) arising directly or indirectly from the Company’s exercise of their rights under this Waiver and Release and the use and exploitation of the photo(s), and whether resulting in whole or in part by the negligence of the Company or any other person, covenants not to make or bring any such Claim against the Company and forever releases and discharges the Company from liability under such Claims.}

^{This Agreement constitutes the sole and entire agreement of the parties with respect to the subject matter contained herein and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations and warranties, both written and oral, with respect to such subject matter. If any term or provision of this Agreement is invalid, illegal or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, such invalidity, illegality or unenforceability shall not affect any other term or provision of this Agreement or invalidate or render unenforceable such term or provision in any other jurisdiction. This Agreement is binding on and shall inure to the benefit of the parties hereto and their respective successors and assigns.}

^{THIS AGREEMENT PROVIDES THE COMPANY WITH YOUR ABSOLUTE AND UNCONDITIONAL CONSENT, WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY, ALLOWING THE COMPANY TO PUBLICIZE AND COMMERCIALLY EXPLOIT YOUR NAME, LIKENESS AND OTHER PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS AND PRIVATE INFORMATION AS SET OUT ABOVE. BY AGREEING TO THESE TERMS, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD ALL OF THE TERMS OF THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE AND THAT YOU ARE GIVING UP SUBSTANTIAL LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE THE COMPANY.}

^{WARGAMING SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THIS Wargaming.net Dornier 17 Global Photo Contest, AND YOU HEREBY WAIVE ANY RIGHTS YOU MAY OTHERWISE HAVE IN ANY SUCH DAMAMGES TO THE MAXIMUME XTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.}

^{The appearance and functionality of the contest shall be in Wargaming’s sole discretion and its decisions on contest winners are not negotiable.}

^{Wargaming expressly reserves the right to end this contest or amend these rules upon announcement.
Wargaming expressly reserves the right to make changes to the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater value, which will become effective upon announcement.
Wargaming is not responsible for any prizes or certificates lost or stolen after the winner has claimed them.
Prizes are awarded 'as is' with no guarantees or warranties of any kind.  Acceptance of a prize releases Wargaming and its partners from all liability and claims concerning the prize, its delivery, and its use.
Wargaming is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize.}

^{By participating in this contest you agree to be bound by these rules.  Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant's disqualification, at the sole discretion of Wargaming.
Any materials submitted become the unrestricted property of Wargaming as detailed in these terms and will not be returned.}

^{No purchase is necessary.  The contest is void where prohibited. Contests and promotions subject to all federal, state and local laws.
