Awards and Achievements

In World of Tanks, players can earn various awards and distinctions for exceptional combat performance, overall progression, participation in events, and even for bizarre battlefield moments or sheer luck. Every medal and title reflects a part of your personal journey through the game—and can also be showcased to other players.

Awards

Awards recognize your accomplishments and battlefield performance across different aspects of World of Tanks. They are grouped into categories covering individual heroics, teamwork, long-term progression, and special events.
You can view your awards in the Garage within the Service Record on the Awards tab. The most significant ones are automatically added to the valuable awards ribbon. You can also manage the ribbon manually and decide which awards are displayed to other players.
A full list of your awards is also available in your account on the portal.

Mastery Badges

Mastery Badges recognize your performance in a specific vehicle and are awarded for earning high Combat XP in Random Battles. To receive a Mastery Badge, you must earn more experience in a single battle than the average experience of a certain percentage of players who fought in the same vehicle for the past 7 days.
Mastery Badges are displayed in the Garage within the Service Record on the Vehicles tab, where you can track your achievements for each vehicle.
Class III

Class I

Ace Tanker

Marks of Excellence

Marks of Excellence showcase your prowess on Tier V–XI vehicles in Random Battles and are displayed directly on your gun barrel. Each nation has its own unique style and markings, some 2D and 3D styles can also change appearance and location of the gun marks.
There are three levels of Marks of Excellence based on the average combined damage caused by one specific vehicle. This combined damage consists of the damage dealt to enemy vehicles by you plus the assist damage of vehicles spotted or immobilized by you. The value of your Mark of Excellence is updated after every Random Battle you play and compared to the recent 14-day performance on this vehicle by all players. Once you obtain a Mark of Excellence, you will not lose it, even if your performance over your past battles drops below the requirement.

1 Mark of Excellence

Your damage and assist damage ratio must be higher than that of 65% of players who have fought in the same vehicle for the past 14 days.

2 Marks of Excellence

Your damage and assist damage ratio must be higher than that of 85% of players who have fought in the same vehicle for the past 14 days.

3 Marks of Excellence

Your damage and assist damage ratio must be higher than that of 95% of players who have fought in the same vehicle for the past 14 days.

Elite System

Elite System tracks your experience and dedication to a specific vehicle at Tier V–XI and is based on Elite Points earned in that vehicle. Elite Points are gained from Combat XP in that vehicle and cannot be transferred to others.
To achieve Elite status in a vehicle, you need to research all its modules and the subsequent vehicle(s) within its Tech Tree branch. All Premium and reward vehicles come with Elite status by default. Once Elite status is unlocked, the vehicle starts earning Elite Points in battles, which are used to progress through 350 Elite Levels. The more points you receive, the higher the Elite Level and the Elite Mark quality.
Elite Levels are visible in various in-game interfaces, including the Garage, battle scenes, post-battle screens, and tank statistics.

Dog Tags are your personal "business card" in World of Tanks, shown to opponents whose vehicles you have destroyed in battle. They consist of three elements—your nickname (and clan name), a Background, and an Engraving—each reflecting your identity and achievements. As you progress, you unlock new elements and upgrade Engravings across Dedication, Skill, and Triumph categories, showcasing your experience, performance, and standout battle results. There are special animated Dog Tags for your progress in the Total Vehicle Count achievement. The ultimate reward is the "Supreme Commander" Dog Tag that is also displayed during the pre-battle countdown.
