[Tank Guide] Škoda T 27

As the first Czechoslovakian high-tier Premium vehicle, the VIII Škoda T 27  's qualities are similar to the top-tier medium tanks – high mobility, a quick and dangerous autoloader, and a bouncy turret. So if you're already a fan of the regular vehicles, this tank is the perfect choice to train your crews and earn plenty of credits!

Gameplay

So far, none of the Czechoslovakian medium tanks are about armour, and the Škoda T 27 is no exception. Its hull is large and squishy, making you a juicy target if you are not careful. The turret isn't that thick either, and any well-placed shot will penetrate. Yet, it can bounce shells in the heat of battle because of its round shape and favourable angles. It also has a decent gun depression angle. However, expect some pain if you get hit.

One of the biggest advantages of this vehicle is its great mobility. To be more specific, its high acceleration allows it to reach its decent top speed quickly, which will often come in handy since you will need to retreat quickly after shooting your opponents. The Škoda T 27 also has a good view range, even though it's not as important for this type of vehicle.

In terms of stats, its gun seems like a modified German 8.8 cm gun, enhanced with a three-round autoloader. The shot per damage may be average, but the reload time of each shell inside the magazine is very low compared to others. Both the accuracy and the aiming time are pretty solid, especially for autoloaders. Use this combination to surprise the enemy, pump your shells into their armour, and get out of there before they even realise it.

When you are reloading your magazine, consider yourself a giant target to enemies. You will be completely defenceless. Before you initiate your attack, make sure you have cover to retreat to so you can plan your next move.

With its rounded turret and rational angles of the vehicle’s sloped armor plates, one can count on casual ricochets but shouldn’t rely on the thickness of the armor. Conserve your HP by making the most of the vehicle’s mobility and surprise factor—its good view range will definitely help with this.

As you know, autoloaders cannot mount a Tank Gun Rammer, so the focus will be on the general performance of the vehicle. The Vertical Stabiliser will increase your gun stabilisation substantially. Even though the view range doesn't play a big role in the Škoda T 27's playstyle, mounting it can prove useful in many situations. Or you might just want to go for the Enhanced Gun Laying Drive instead. Finally, the Improved Ventilation grants a useful bonus to most of the vehicle's parameters.

This choice of crew skills doesn't really differ from most medium tanks in the game. As usual, Repair is the top priority, then skills to improve specific aspects of the vehicle, and Brothers-in-Arms later for a boost to many combat parameters.

Adrenaline Rush

Decreases the gun reload time by 10% if your vehicle's HP drops below 10%.

Works only if the skill progress has reached 100%.

Brothers in Arms / Sisterhood of Steel

Increases the training level of your crew members by 5%.

Works only if the skill progress has reached 100% for every single crew member.

Band of Brothers

Increases the training level of your crew members by 5%.

Works only if the skill progress has reached 100% for every single crew member.

Also works if other crew members have Brothers-in-Arms/Sisterhood-of-Steel.

Call for Vengeance

Reports the enemy vehicles' location for two more seconds after the destruction of their own vehicle.

Works only if the skill progress has reached 100%.

Clutch Braking

Increases the traverse speed of your vehicle.

The higher the skill progresses, the better the effect.

Concealment

Increases the camouflage value of your vehicle.

The higher the skill progress, the better the effect.

Controlled Impact

Increases the ramming damage dealt and decreases damage taken by ramming.

The higher the skill progress, the better the effect.

Deadeye

Increases the chance of landing a critical hit.

Works only if the perk progress has reached 100%.

Designated Target

Keeps targeted vehicles visible for two more seconds.

Works only if the perk progress has reached 100%.

Eagle Eye

Allows you to identify damaged/destroyed modules as well as injured crew members of an enemy vehicle by hovering your mouse over it for several seconds.

Works only if the perk progress has reached 100%.

Firefighting

Reduces the duration and damage taken by fire.

The higher the perk progress, the better the effect.

Intuition

Grants a slight chance of changing the shell type without having to reload again.

Doesn't work with autoloaders. Works also while reloading.

Works only if the perk progress has reached 100%.

Jack of All Trades

Reduces the performance penalty of wounded crew members.

The higher the skill progress, the better the effect.

Mentor

Increases the Crew XP gained for each member apart from the commander.

The higher the skill progress, the better the effect.

Off-Road Driving

Increases the mobility on medium and soft terrain.

The higher the skill progress, the better the effect.

Preventative Maintenance

Reduces the chance of taking fire.

Works only if the perk progress has reached 100%.

Recon

Increases the view range of your vehicle.

The higher the skill progress, the better the effect.

Relaying

Increases the signal range of your allies' vehicles within your signal range.

The higher the skill progress, the better the effect.

Repair

Reduces the repair time of destroyed modules.

The higher the skill progress, the better the effect.

Safe Stowage

Increases the durability of your vehicle's ammo rack.

Works only if the perk progress has reached 100%.

Signal Boosting

Situational Awareness

Sixth Sense

Shows a lightbulb three seconds after you've been spotted.
