Gold Series Team Interviews: GASHPLUS_NightEagles

Tank Commanders,

Disciplined training on a regular basis can turn anyone from a zero to hero in due time. On top of that, Taiwanese team GASHPLUS_NightEagles makes sure to keep experimenting with different fighting styles. Good strategy and skills sure made the team worthy of being part of the Gold Series.

Although they won't be flying for the finals, we salute the NightEagles for effort.

Here's their interview:

WG: How do you feel about qualifying for the Gold Series and being in the lineup for a shot at the Grand Finals?

GASHPLUS_NightEagles: We feel honored to be able to represent Taiwan when advancing to this level. Regardless of the outcome, we will try to fight for the final glory.

WG: What is your main focus now that you’re in the Gold Series?

GASHPLUS_NightEagles: We try to use different fighting styles, continue learning and revising.

WG: How would you describe your team’s play style?

GASHPLUS_NightEagles: Our style is very positive, charging with aggressiveness.

WG: Which team in the Gold Series do you feel is your biggest competitor?

GASHPLUS_NightEagles: All of us think ELong is very aggressive. We can’t predict their style. We have to see what they do in order to fight back perceptively.

WG: How well do you think your team can do in the tournament?

GASHPLUS_NightEagles: We hope that we can play as well as we played in Open Season 1.

WG: Do you feel that the team is at its peak or are there more improvements you’d like to work on?

GASHPLUS_NightEagles: We’re trying some strategies and even a brand new battle style. We will be using new ideas to face opponents.

WG: How do you go about preparing for a match? Do you spectate or watch any replays of the other teams?

GASHPLUS_NightEagles: We will decide all the positions and strategy for each member before the matches. And we might change the strategy when we face different teams. And yes, we used to watch video recaps/replays to check their style and strategies.

WG: Where will we be seeing more of the team in the future? Are you planning on taking part in more tournaments hosted by Wargaming?

GASHPLUS_NightEagles: Our goal this season to get into the top six in the WGL APAC-ASIA gold series, and get tickets to participate in the finals the next season. Yes, we are planning on taking part in more tournaments.
