Wargaming Announces Special 15-Year Anniversary World of Tanks Tournaments

May 16, 2013 — Wargaming, the leading free-to-play MMO developer and publisher, today announced a special World of Tanks tournament in celebration of the company’s 15th anniversary. The tournament will unfold in key regions around the globe, including Europe, North America, Russia, South Korea, Southeast Asia, China and Vietnam. Winning teams from each region will score themselves an all-expenses paid trip to the World of Tanks development studio located in Minsk, Belarus.

For Southeast Asia, the winner of the TanksAsia Masters Open Season will represent the cluster in Minsk, Belarus and get to indulge in the festivities during the 15th anniversary celebrations. The grand finals has just been concluded on 18th May in Bangkok, Thailand and team U ARE DEAD from Hong Kong has been determined to be the representative team for Southeast Asia. They will enjoy an expense-free trip to Minsk where they can get to rub shoulders with Wargaming developers, party with staff from all around the world as well as meet the strongest contenders of the 15th anniversary tournament from the other servers.
