Video: Overloon Museum

Tank Commanders,

How would you like to visit the Overloon War Museum?

The town of Overloon was the site of a major Allied siege back in World War II. They were determined to capture it from the Germans, who were holed up within the settlement. It took the Allies three difficult weeks, but they succeeded in the end.

The aftermath of the battle saw many war machines lying scattered and abandoned around the town. Some of the more note-worthy ones included Shermans, Churchills and Panthers. A Soviet IS-2 and T-34-85 were found in the ruins as well, along with a mysterious French Renault.
