Tournament Mechanics

The tournament will feature two seperate categories: Expert and Novice. The Expert category is further divided into two parts, 'Ace Bracket' and 'Underdog Bracket'.

Expert category
  • In the beginning, all teams will be placed in the Ace Bracket of the Expert category and will battle amongst themselves in randomly seeded matches.  Match winners will retain their place in the Ace Bracket, but the losers will suffer a downgrade.
  • A team's first defeat will send them to the Underdog Bracket. From there, they will have to win all their matches for another chance to get in the finals for the Expert category.
  • If a team in the Underdog Bracket loses a match again, they will be dropped to the Novice category.
  • Teams that have survived the 2nd round in the Expert category will be 'locked in' and will not be transferred to the Novice category for the rest of the tournament.
  • The top 3 teams from both the Ace and Underdog bracket will be seeded together for the Finals.
  • Each team in the Ace bracket will be matched up with a team from the Underdog bracket, and vice versa.
  • The team from the Ace bracket will have a 'twice to beat' advantage over a team from the Underdog bracket
  • The top 3 teams remaining will be seeded into a round-robin match.
  • If all 3 teams get the same amount of points after the match has concluded, another round robin will commence until a winner is decided.
Novice category
  • Unlike the Expert category, the Novice category will be based on single-elimination matches.
  • The top 3 teams remaining in the Novice category will be seeded into a round-robin match.
  • If all 3 teams get the same amount of points after the match has concluded, another round robin will commence until a winner is decided.
Battle Format
  • 7v7 Team Battle matches
  • 10 minutes Battle Time limit
  • Tier VIII vehicles or lower only
  • Total Tier count limit: 42
  • Players must use their own personal WoT PC accounts for all tournament matches.
Points System
  • Best of 3 match-up (Points system)
  • Winning Team will gain 1 point
  • In event of Draw, both teams will gain 1 point
  • First team to get 2 points wins the match
  • If both teams attain 2 points at the same time, a final deciding battle will be held
Map Pool (Standard Battle and Assault maps)
  • Standard Battle Maps will be drawn by WG staff to be used throughout each match-up:
    • Ensk, Cliff, Himmelsdorf, Ruinberg, Prokhorovka, Mines, Steppes.

Note: The assault map 'Sand River' will be used to break the tie if both teams attain 2 points at the same time.

Rules and Regulations

  • Failure to show up at the appointed time for a scheduled match will result in a Default, or be considered a loss to the absent team. The opposing team will win and move to the next round automatically.
  • The starting tank line-up for each team must be declared to WG staff to avoid any sudden changes in tank selection after players enter the Training Room.
  • Teams will not be allowed to change their tank selections after the conclusion of each round (unless the map used is changed into an Assault map).
  • Each Account / IGN / Player can only register once in the entire tournament regardless of Team and City. Failure to abide by this rule will result in immediate disqualification of his team(s) from the tournament.

This is your chance to be the pride of the nation. Good luck in the tournament!

Let's Battle!
