[Special] 100 Years of Tanks: Week 1
Tank Commanders,
Did you know that the first tank appeared in battle a hundred years ago? On September 1916, a squadron of British Mark I tanks took part in an offensive during the Battle of the Somme. Although their debut wasn't enough to overwhelm the enemy, they did achieve some small measure of success where they fought. Since then, the tank has been the ultimate symbol of military power on land.
To commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the first tank battle, we have created the next epic mission chain for World of Tanks players to complete for unique rewards, including special emblems and a medal.
The '100 Years of Tanks' mission chain
Each week, we'll release two weekly missions that will allow you the chance to earn a range of consumable rewards and a garage slot. However, these missions also serve another purpose; when both missions are complete for a given week, you will receive another separate injection of consumables, and will be eligible for one '100 Years of Tanks' reward level. There is a maximum of 4 reward levels to attain.
Here's what you will get when the final rewards are obtainable on 19th to 29th September:
