Read on to find out more about the upcoming Supertest.

Roll out!

Important: Any and all info presented in here is preliminary, and as such, it may be subject to change, modification, or complete deletion upon the official release, depending on the outcome of the test.

Features in the Upcoming Supertest for Update 9.14

Improved Vehicle Movement Physics and Improved Sounds

  • Improvements have constantly been made to vehicle movement physics and in-game sounds until now, and the improvements to each are now in their final stages.
  • The Supertest will be the final test of these improvements before the release of the Common Test for Update 9.14. More details about the changes will be made available on the portal in the near future.

Vehicle Draw Distance and Spotting Range on Minimap

  • Circles have been added to the minimap to indicate vehicle draw distance, and player's current spotting range. The spotting range circle depends on many factors that affect the value of the vehicle's view range (set equipment Coated Optics / Binocular Telescope, crew skills / perks, consumables, etc).
  • The new functions, such as the displaying of draw distance and spotting range circles, may be switched on/off as desired in the settings.

Beginners Get Simplified Vehicle Module Research

  • To ease beginners into the game and acquaint them with how to research vehicle modules, the research system for Tiers I and II have been changed.
  • Tier I vehicles will have just one module (a gun) available for research.
  • Tier II vehicles will have a more expanded pool of modules to research. Instead of just a gun module, one module of each type will be made available for research: engine, gun, suspension, radio, and turret.

Goal-setting Personal Missions (Manoeuvres) for Tiers 4-5

  • For beginners, goal-setting personal missions have been added.
  • These missions are intended to introduce players to the specifics of the different vehicles in World of Tanks.

Improved Mechanics for Activating First Aid Kit and Repair Kit [Updated]

  • Changes have been made to the way by which Small First Aid Kits and Small Repair Kits are applied when activated.
  • If all crew members/modules are in good condition at the time that a Small First Aid Kit/Small Repair Kit is activated, there will be no menu for selecting a specific crew member/module to be given First Aid/Repair.
